Amen. I'm fine with around 20-25 ??C. But basically that is still to hot considering that I am living in a flat under the rooftop and when it's hot and sunny out there I'll have a saune in here in not time...So I basically prefer it to be of intermediate temperature and rather cloudy :D

Something pointless: I'll go and hit the matress now :D :D :D

  6. How comfortable is comfortable?
The humidity is fine. It's just a little warm. My comfort zone is right around 26-27.

It gets suuuuuuuuuuper humid there, or at least the parts we went to.

Source: I would be living in that state now if it wasn't so humid, as much of my family lives there.

  8. If it's dry heat, I can EASILY do 35C. No ****ing prob. But, humidity isn't so much of a problem when you live pretty close to the coast. You get the breeze which makes it bearable. I used to spend a good 6-8 hours a day at the beach back in my prime.

I actually have no idea how I did it. I would never bring water with me even though I lived a block away and I was always too lazy to go back and get some. So I used to spend hours without any water and I didn't just sit around. I skimboard A LOT more than I surf due to the fact that the Gulf of Mexico is **** tier and the only time I can actually surf a decent wave is before, during or after a storm, tropical storm or hurricane. And since I skimboard a lot, I run A LOT.

And for anyone that doesn't know what real skimboarding is, it's this Bill Bryan
    ...I really miss 2009-2011. Sigh...

But if anyone ever plans to take a trip to St. Petersburg, Florida. Let me know and I'll teach you how to skimboard, wakeboard (with a skimboard) and surf if weather permits ;). Also, surfing is far easier than skimboarding.

20-25 is still fine to me, it does get annoying from 25-30 but everything 30+ is just.... nooooooooooooooooope.

What's the difference between surfing and skimboarding, wakeboarding and whatever other boarding?

Either you've been to the wrong part of the state, or you're talking about a different state from which I live. It's usually pretty average and comfortable here so long as it hasn't or isn't going to rain any time soon.

  14. What's the difference between surfing and skimboarding, wakeboarding and whatever other boarding?
wakeboard involves being almost always straped to the bored with bindings and being towed by a boat, skimboarding is much like surfing without fins with shorter boards , and surfing well :3 wavess :d

    Skimboarding

Skimboarding is when you stand on shore with your board and you sprint towards the shoreline, drop the board, jump on and skim to the wave and surf it. This takes more practice than surfing because the technique you use to drop your board and jumping on takes a lot of practice. Most people will throw their board in front of them, and chase it. But I throw my board down, right in front of me and before it hits the water I am already on it.

The more momentum you get, the better.

The board is also a lot shorter than your average surf board. And it doesn't have fins.

    Surfing

Surfing is just when you sit in the water, wait for a good wave, paddle your heart out, get up on the board and ride the wave. Unlike skimboarding, this involves 0 running.[/YT]

    Wakeboarding

Wakeboardng is when you're strapped to a board and you're being pulled by cables or a boat. The board either has shoes like a snowboard or straps. I personally don't like wakeboards so instead I use my skimboard. I just don't like the fins or the straps/shoes that a wakeboard has :/.

There is also kiteboarding which I really want to get into but it's so damn expensive.

This is also a poorly written post. I'll edit it when I wake up a little more. :)
