Either you've been to the wrong part of the state, or you're talking about a different state from which I live. It's usually pretty average and comfortable here so long as it hasn't or isn't going to rain any time soon.

The place I remember it being the worst was at my family's cemetery, which is a decent bit south west from where you are. You would get out of the car and already be drenched in sweat.

It might be pointless to you but.... I'm nervous but now in a good way... I recently started letting my cat out who's 11 months old now and most of her life been indoors. Today she was gone for 2 hours... it might be normal but I was worrying my tits off.... ;_; Was almost asleep when heard that "rrrrmeow" and kitty jumping in from my window. :3
