I recommend them as I come across them - I only recently discovered HxH (one of my top three favorite anime to date).

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic and its sequel was recommended to me, but I haven't bothered seeing if it's any good.

That and Code Geass and its sequels (I think it has some).

Not really. They did not fall in love in seconds. Their relationship formed over years of being together. You can't love someone without knowing them.
