You don't want loneliness, but you talk like everyone around you doesn't matches your standards. Considering you have internet and games and nerdy chicks turning you down, I find it quite difficult to believe everyone has a "radically different idea of fun."

1-3 close friends don't sprout from the ground while you're playing games and wanting someone to watch you. Man up, go meet people that have some affinity with you, even if a minor one. Maybe they turn into good friends, maybe they introduce you to someone who might be a better friend. Do some stuff you don't necessarily love for the sake of spending time with friends (and get used to it if you expect to have a stable girlfriend).

Just don't say you don't enjoy loneliness when you make it sound like you isolate yourself.
