Lol so I really really wanted the name Sargeras on mop live. I just idolize him <3

Stayed up since it hit midnight yesterday with screen on the side so i could jump on it moment it reset.
Finally.... it resets and i try to get the name as fast as i can, but it says i cant have it :'[.

So i decide to contact the guy who got it before me.
I found that there is no horde player or alliance player on mop with that name. Tried adding as friend, sending mail etc: player don't exist. (And it responds differently if he were offline, i tested that too)

Then tried again immediately to create char, again it says cant have that name.

Can someone explain how this could happen?

I'm 98% sure you can't use an NPC name as your own for various reasons.

You can only take Lore names (or other banned names for that matter) if you add a file to your folder that removes the filter.

I'm curious, does it count as something "illegal"?
