I only had a real one once or twice, but the cleaning you gotta do really isn't worth it. Some people don't like to get a tree ready for xmas, but I really love decorating it, it's just so much fun.
Also, why does every country have a german store those days? Is that our new plan to take over the world or something?
Latvia barely has any as far as I know.
I do not really see a reason behind having a Christmas tree. One, because if using real too much cleaning, two, because if get fake one then its kind of bad for planet, three, I see no fun in decorating or having it... To me it just fills the place without any good...

Those days? Used to me more in the past. There are only a few leftovers in some countries. The only German supermarket chains which are still expanding globally are Lidl and Aldi.
Also in Germany we used to have more foreign stores. I miss Wal-Mart a lot (yes we used to have them in Germany), also Spar supermarkets.
I wish we had Tesco too, like they have it in Poland, Czech Republich, Slovakia and Hungary.

Wal-mart and your government didn't get along. Hence why they aren't there anymore. (Germany didn't approve of many of Wal-mart's methods.)
We have an Aldi within 50 miles of here or so, and it's nice to have a place to buy cheap groceries...

I wonder how popular they were here, since I have never even seen one, not even once. I lived in a lot of different areas, kinda curious why I never got to see one.
I knew about Aldi, but I didn't expect some of the others to be this widely spread. Some of them really aren't that old, if I recall correctly Kaufland was founded in the 80's for example.

You must be from Croatia obviously. I prefer shopping at Konzum there.
We have German and Slovenian supermarkets here, I wish we had stores like Walgreens, Ulta, Forever 21 etc.
