News about coin reset and legendary items

Even if Edifice or whoever had specified a precise day for SM realease, people would make posts all day, every hour, to ask the Staff if they know the exact launch time.

Now that we know SM will be available for those who had it, can't you just be a little patient ? They said 5-10, I guess the sooner the better but let the staff work just a little bit. See the number of tickets popping everyday, everyone has something to ask, coins, account retrival, item misbuy and so on. SM is one topic among other. Just wait guys !

Think of the server recovery as a healing over time process, not a big Holy Light 50k crit. :)

You're missing a quite important part there though: you invested the coins elsewhere. You made full use of them with your warrior, rogue, druid and priest. The people you're trying to claim are getting "better treatment" didn't equip four different characters with those coins. You're not being kept from getting the same exact items you did before, and they are just being given the same treatment with a Legendary weapon.

If you put it that way seems completly fair doesn't it? Here's another way of seeing things:
they have the option of getting the items i bought, change the chars they play and make war, druid, rogue and priest as i did while i don't have the option to make a single char with smourne as it will only be available to them. Seems a bit off don't you think? The extra privileges kinda take shape at this point. So it would be nice if you would remove the " " @ better treatment since it is there.

Strange noone asked does 5-10 March include the 5. and the 10. March, or it is only 6. 7. 8. or 9. March, like in Maths. :)

I also think that extending the SM release date will piss the people of more then 2 wipes of Molten :)

Why would they say "5 - 10 march" if they were 100% sure they could or would release it on the 5th ?

Just like I said, people will jump on every opportunity they get to complain and show how impatient they are.

so let me get 100% straight we can't rebuild our old characters its just a new start BUT we can't invest our coins in one char for example with Sm . Ye i know the usual staff answer if you don't like it play on other server thx

No, it doesn't seems off at all. You made a choice to gear up four characters instead of investing on a Legendary item. They made the opposite choice. They are being given a chance to use their refunded coins to simply get back something they met hard requirements to have.

So let me put it this way then: is it fair that the investment in coins and time that people who got Shadowmourne before gets thrown in the trash because people who preferred to gear a wide number of characters with those coins got all of those spent (and quite well time-worn) coins refunded?

PS: Just in case - it's a rhetorical question, since the answer is obvious.

You can rebuild your old characters. You have your coins back, some extra as a gift, a bunch of bonuses to help, and the servers online for you to work on rebuilding them back to their previous glory.

Yea i get your point but i had my donations spread over 6 characters and now i don't have that much time to play and would have preferred to play only one character for pvp with sm. If i had the same time sure. I hope the staff considers making it avaliable to anyone for full price.

They don't there to be TONS of SMs, so they chose to do it this way. They HAVE to limit the amount of SMs available in the market and this is the most fair way of doing it, people who had it before, have a chance to get it again. Why are you entitled to something you never had?

Please Sir explain to me how is it an "extra privilege" for me to be able to equip my char as it was before the wipe?

It will be made available to everyone. The point is there's a possibility it will have requirements and only be available after all the refunded coins have expired, which, in my personal opinion, is the best solution out of a problematic situation - people who had spent coins on Legendaries get to use the refund to take them back, those who didn't become able to take those items in the regular way afterwards, but not with refunds.
