I don't want to talk smack to this guild, but just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I haven't seen a million dollars in cash before. Does that mean it does not exist?
That begs a few questions. Let me list them off so that you may answer them at your leisure.
1 - Does this mean that your "purple status" is because you actually donated to the server for its betterment, instead of purchased an item? :D
2 - Does this mean that when you do ICC, you always pass or roll Disenchant because if you ever get those upgrades or BIS items, your achievements suddenly become worth less?
3 - Do you not believe in "progression" in any form? Because that's what the game has been modeled around since its inception. Gaining levels and better gear so that you can accomplish greater things.
4 - Is achievements the only thing that matter? You don't care to try and go after the hardest content the expansion has to offer? You can't have fun on that with your friends?
You're essentially implying "No." to each of these with that statement, so I'm asking to be sure. :) If you're sure about what you're implying, then I'd say you're quite a unique individual. :)

Of course it happens, a guild with 100 people or so won't have everyone who's all good and don't like to curse etc on other players, I just said I've yet to see it while I've seen others doing it, be it in pugs or rdfs and I've generally done more stuff with Darksun people.
1. I donated very few things, most of those being mounts. My pve had 2 items donated when I was farming LoD etc. Later when I stopped playing pve actively I got SM (Which I got by saving New Year coins since I couldn't afford that much). And yes I actually donated for server, when they stopped updating WotLK regularly I stopped donating :P
2. I don't really understand what's that question about, or where I even mentioned any of that.
3. Also where did I mention progression being bad? Even now after wipe I've went from basic stuff (RHC/FoS/PoS/ToC etc) to ICC10hc/25hc as right now. I just wrote that because the guy before me said something about "how's LoD progress going" in a sarcastic way. Those that farm LoD now are the ones that got full bis with coins a day after the wipe. Sure I don't have anything against that, especially if they had most/all of that gear legit before the wipe, but going around and bragging about it and mocking other guilds is just lame.
4. That "achievement" part was just a response to that sarcastic "how's LoD progress going" thing. And I actually went through all what I did both in PvP and PvE with friends while being on Skype, I was rarely alone doing stuff. :P I really doubt I could play this game alone.

I agree. I've seen more people outside of my guild do it towards my guild than I've seen my own guild do it towards others. Yeah, I won't deny that I've seen them do it. I haven't seen it too often either, but at the same time, that doesn't make it OK. Given the nature of the game and the attitude of a lot of people that play here, it's really unavoidable, so I perform as much crowd control as I can. Yet still I get a lot of flak from it and hateful whispers from people in other guilds (I won't point fingers), and it gets really tiresome. I imagine leaders of other guilds get similar and feel similar about it.
@2 - You essentially said that killing bosses with BIS isn't much of an achievement. So, assuming you care about achievements, that would mean that in order for those achievements to mean something to you, you and the group you did it with would have had to pass up all those BIS item drops from the raids you did. If you didn't do this, then this makes your statement rather illogical and makes it clear what it really is: A petty attack on other groups that do the content with any gear that could be mentioned as "BIS".
@3 - This ties in with #2. The game is not just about "boss progression", but "gear progression" as well. Putting down other players because they've managed to progress their gear in one form or another to being "best" is rather petty.
@4 - Yes, I know it was. The thing is though, this exact sort of comment is what we've (myself and my group/guild) been getting from certain individuals (whom I won't name for the sake of saving face and avoiding group/guild-specific "drama"). The reason I comment and ask these sorts of questions is because I wanted to dispel these people's illogical thinking on this so that perhaps they'll realize just how petty they are being over nothing that really concerns them. :)
If a certain individual or group of people don't enjoy raiding heroic ICC or doing Lich King, or some other such thing, that's cool. Play the game how you like. But please, for the sake of everyone involved, don't provoke others. Don't attack others who are doing content that you aren't doing for whatever reason, even if it is a "reaction", because of the infamous "vicious cycle". While I understand that sometimes it's hard to not react when someone's constantly attacking you in some way, there still stands the golden rule: Don't start anything, there won't be anything.
Hopefully everyone chills out and decides to have fun with the game instead of trying to have fun trolling/insulting others. :) This is directed at everyone involved, including my own guildmates - don't make me slap you guys.

I feel sorry for everyone who actually took this seriously :D I dont think anyone can even compare our guilds when it comes down to endgame raiding. I think they cleared all the content long before Darksun was founded back in november 2013. But you have to admit that we are doing pretty well considering we invite everyone that speak finnish. We strugle to get 25 raiders online on a farm raid day, yet imagine how impossible it is to try and progress somerhingDarksun best guild ragnaros because 2 RF
So just because we got 2 realm first achievements, you dont have to be butthurt if we want to "brag" about it. The tittle itself is meaningless for the time being.

Okay so, before the second "moltdown" we got realm first OS and were progressing on KT without anyone having access to marketplace gear. Some of us had farmed stuff quite a lot to get gear for it. We got it to 10% or so, and decided to try again the next day with more gear. Then molten opened the marketplace and people got gear and killed it while we were sleeping. This is totally fine, we would have done the same if we could, but I hope you understand that some of us, well... Didn't like that. Some members of Radiance did bash us a lot after that, and I suppose some members of Darksun did that after we got it this time. We were really committed on getting them, so maybe some people got a little over excited.
I personally don't have hard feelings towards anyone and everything I've said has been in a jokingly manner. I don't want Aurora or Radiance to hate us. I'm not even sure if I should write this or not, but I just want to tell the story from our side.
And finally, if you feel like you have a problem with someone from Darksun, just report it to an officer and we'll sort it out. :)

Yes I can remember people doing that, but please try to understand that some people got really upset about that, as you probably saw yourself. Also, we're all on the internet so you know how it is with some people. However I would like to apologise about that on behalf of my guild.
