It's like having someone who died from cancer and then you get all butthurt whenever someone uses the word in an "inappropriate" way.

i've had a dear person to me dying from cancer and no it's completly different they didnt died cuz some fuktard decided to play god, and ppl advertising to such events cuz that's basicly what happening, and it's not just cuz it "personally" affects me, but since it does if i dont stand up for it, who will?

In your example, it's like showing someone a picture of a scan showing the CAUSE of death (i.e. cancerous cells, tumors? Idk biology, sorry).

Raising awareness for terrible things that happened in the past is incredibly important, pictures don't cause any harm since they don't carry a message of glorification with them. And showing a picture of hitler to a holocaust victim doesn't do anything and isn't even an accurate comparsion to be honest.
