Disregarding what happened earlier...
Trap/Big Room House/*Step(esp. Chillstep) variations have been considered music for teens and for a long while, really since their beginning. Looking at the comments and the pictures of the commenters on the Youtube videos, then comparing them to the same on *Trance videos shows a lot.
Sadly even Trance is being ruined, there are still some artists true to the sound but people like Hardwell, Avicii(his new stuff), Steve Aoki, Tiesto's New Stuff, especially David Guetta and Armin putting more House on ASOT are bringing more people into the scene who aren't really into it just for the sound but for how good it sounds when they're high as **** and their audial sense is as bland as it gets. This is why Miami is considering not having UMF at Bayfront Park anymore because of all the stupid kids ODing and destroying property. I realize a lot of the older generation of Trance fans like myself started because of Xtc but we weren't ridiculous like these kids and Trance can actually be uplifting, give you the chills, bring on different emotions and put you in another place. It was all PLUR. One day there's not going to be any new good EDM. All good things tend to come to an end unfortunately but its that way as you get older concerning Music for most people. Parents think their Kids' music is horrible, One generation looks at the newer generation and feels their music is horrible. Sometimes it amazes me the release date of some of my favorite Vocal Trance tracks/mixes, DJ Doboy has my favorite mixes of all time and some of his go back to 2000 and late '99. Fifteen years ago.
Its nice how when people in guild are playing around on Comms, sharing Music with each other, someone puts on some regurgitated *step or House and I'm like Wait Up Wait Up...I put on some legit Vocal Trance and they want me to play another. :D There's also a reason why when retail raiding was legit as **** World/Realm first videos almost always had Trance/Vocal Trance playing. :D

And I can keep going. But I'm not a big Trance fan. I used to listen to ASOT all the time but I kind of just lost interest. Trance became boring. And I unfortunately never cared to look for a undiscovered Trance artist that could potentially bring back Trance to where it used to be.

I've heard a couple good remixes by Seven Lions but the others listed besides A&B (of course) I didn't care for. Some of the ones you listed are *Step artists and true Trance fans don't care for that crap!! You said you're not a big Trance fan so its understandable. I stopped listening to ASOT a while back also, now I prefer places like Ori Uplift on Soundcloud, or PARADISE on Youtube. Pedro Del Mar / DJ Shah put out weekly mixes called Mellomania which are awesome. FSOE (Aly & Fila) has some good stuff sometimes. Everything my favorite session singer, Christina Novelli, has been on for the past 2 or so years has been great. You can find some good releases on di.fm/vocaltrance also but I usually listen to the 'classic' channel. AH.fm used to play a lot of Vocal now they're switching back to just straight up Trance like Van Dyk style, or House (ugh). The A&B acoustic was great, really showed their talent -- especially Satellite / Stealing Time, I remember when A&B posted it on their Facebook I listened to the whole thing and enjoyed it. Gareth Emery's latest album was pretty nice but I did not care for A&B's new one, a lot of their fanbase didn't. Its very...different. Markus Schulz or ATB need to put out a new album. I've seen M.S. in NJ and went to some venues all across the US, including your state. If I still lived in Florida I'd be in heaven..too many people take it for granted. Vocal Trance is still going strong you just have to look in the right places and Vocal to me will always be the best! :D Even if eventually I'll have to be listening to oldies.
