Look at it this way guys - Banthalos in Sargeras used to spawn every 18 days or so. Then, all it took was one month to lower to about once a week, to every three days, then suddenly just under a day to spawn!! It's completely possible it will happen to other servers as well! Keep your hopes up and be persistent, either way you will get him :)

Yeah, I agree with Lykus. Remember this is only temporary, it's not gonna be like this forever, the timer will become short and stay for a long time. Im guessing that warmane is changing the spawn timers when they have to, Banthalos dont even have a normal timer at all. Tho they can make it take long to spawn up to 18 days just like Larsein is having.

In sargeras Banthalos use to spawn like Larsein is having, it took 2 months to spawn often again. So if Ban'thalos haven't spawned up to 18 days or so, i recommend to report him thru the bugtacker that "he is not spawning at all" but make sure to confirm that u havent miss any banthalos on times ur not on before reporting.

So Larsein i know how exactly u feel, in cata i missed banthalos 5 times tho not the exact issue u have but it took me 1 month to get mines. Same goes with my friend that he took 2 months getting his and right now in MoP he quit re-camping banthalos. But i? i never gave up :D I tamed Banthalos 3 times now cata>mop>after wipe.

Do never give up, you will get yours and you will post all ur happy screenshots with ur very own banthalos <3

I know his latest dates of spawns. Always was offline when he spawned or smth was happening xD but I know he did from friends. I believe there is a timer on Cata :) and it works, haven't failed me last time and spawned but I lost Ban in fight. I will post my theories and discovers after I will finally tame him. :D
I am not giving up and camping non stop now. That waiting just killing me x3

I got 2 good news about Ban'thalos! :D

Ever since the server restarted:

1- They finally applied the Ban'thalos Spawn Point fix and he is now circulating in Sanctuary of Malorne without leaving the spawn point! Enjoy the fixed spawn point, Ban'thalos shall now be safe in his spawn point without getting killed by low lvls!

2- After they applied the fix, Ban'thalos timer was completly resetted and respawned after the server restart! (This happened in Sargeras, i don't know if timer got resetted in Frostwolf) Please keep in mind that ever since the last spawned, his >minium< timer is not 16 hrs, his timer is still the same, just that it was a timer reset.

Guys i need alot of witnesses, i got the GM's attention about the bantha spawn timer! Tell him the truth of how long u guys stood camping ur bantha! http://bugtracker.warmane.com/issues/13896 GM said it's 18 h ,but it's not,idk how,he doesnt spawn every day,he spawns each mounth,btw go to pixi link and support it,after that we're going to report Magria and end this pet reporting once for all!

But this is what I was for a while, so I did have access to test server.
I no longer use this account on bugtracker or forum (exception being now) as I do prefer using my original account
