hmm can anyone confirm this on sargeras? buddy and I flying around for hours on 4 toons so 4-6 spawns. And spawn seemed to be 3 hours if not maybe its just bad luck not seeing body after skinning.

Its not soooo hard, at least on cata servers.
All you need to do is:
Scroll through all spawn points until you find one of the two drakes (if no one has killed - and the body has disappeared - before you find, it gonna happen between immediately and one hour and a few minutes). If you find Vyragosa or Dirkee alive, kill it, wait 1 hour and 3 minutes and redo the search. If you find their corpse, proceed in the same way.
Once you know the respawn time, find TLPD becomes just a matter of routine. It can be on the next round or a few hours later.
On NELTHARION I just killed 4 TLPD and 10 Vyragosas in 15 hours.Edited: May 28, 2015 Reason: Originally from the old Frostwolf which is now Neltharion .

By the way, at least on Frostwolf the two dragons DONT share respawn with Dirkee. I killed Dirkee and 1 minute after i found Vyragosa in another spot.

I dont think Dirkee and TLPD share spawn time. I think its only TLPD and Vyragosa. I once killed Dirkee, and a minute later, i killed Vyragosa.
From my experience, i usually find TLPD early mornings when everyone is asleep and the server is fewer players online. I got mine on Sargares, the spawn time was 3 hours. I killed Vyragosa once every 3 hours, atleast 4 times in one day, at different spawn points. Eventually i found TLPD at Bor's Breath ( the frozen waterfall) .. Also found him twice at Engine of the Makers

Guys are you sure about the Spawn timer because for 3 hours i didn't stop checking every spawn point and nah .. nothing :(

so far i killed 3 tlpd's and over 100 vyragosas and i found out this :D
vyragosa spawns every 8h in brunhildar village ONLY vyragosa i killed like 50+ of those tlpd never spawned
then u have ulduar spot thats on some weird random timer from 6h up to 10h
engine of makers spawns on server crash, but only on first of that day. only vyra spawns on crash
u have vyragosa spawn spot on that waterfall thats looking on K3, its 24h
and 1 more vyragosa spawns on random timer inside textures near engine of makers, flies out from the mountain from ulduar side.
tlpd spawns on 3 spots only, and its not connected to vyragosa at least i didnt find any connection with spawns, imo its totally random, i wont reveal tlpd spots since guildies need it.

I'm not sure about Frostwolfs timer but on Sargaras it was every 3 hours. It could be random timer between 3-8 hours.
I've gotten the TLPD 5 times. Twice i've seen it at Bor's Breath (frozen waterfall) and 3 times i've seen it at Engine of the Makers. Best places to check.

Zandalari Warbringer - No Drop ( Only Gold )
TLPD - 5:00 AM - 3:40 PM ... Nothing
It's a pain for a mount collector wihthout any Old Content and only those 3 bugged possibilitys :(

Aeonaxx has an 8 hour spawn timer so that is why you didn't find her.

i heard the spawn time of tlpd is complitly random, is that true? i am in storm peaks abouth a month and nothin :(((
