Nope, I wasn't taught that either. I can walk on the left or the right. Or in the middle.

Generally if there is people walking towards you, tend to veer left so you can both pass. same goes for stairs etc.

I'm not from a big city at all I don't know where you got that from, I just wasn't taught it because it's common sense not to walk into people.

Actually, being honest, that sort of thing is VERY common. The population of them is high enough to where people are actually encouraged to hunt. Also, hitting one? Some people seem to think "ehhh, it's no big deal, just plow them instead of swerving to avoid them." They'll do almost as much damage to the vehicle as a tree will. :|

When I walk on the street I run straight into people. I then quickly turn around and act as if they are blind or stupid for not avoiding me. I make a nice, good, loud scene and proceed to insult them, not even giving them space to breathe. If someone dares to ask "hey wan, chill, what's your problem" i just pretend to call my biker gang to beat them up, muttering things like "we'll see about that, ****er".
Then I continue going down my way, pretending to speak on the phone with a dangerous gang boss until I hit a corner behind which I hide and wait for the insolents to leave the scene.
yeah, that'll show everyone not to mess with me.

Seriously? You guys were not taught that small lanes like Corridors or paths you should walk on the left too?

Firstly, I'm not even from the city.
Secondly, that was never a rule. They said keep to the left in school corridors to those walking in a particular direction to avoid collisions, but obviously the people walking in the opposite direction would be told to keep to the right.

In my school they had signs saying keep to the left but for that reason only. It was never some kind of lesson.
