That's rude. He should have waited and said happy birthday at midnight exactly in our time because otherwise he's wishing you a happy birthday and it's meaningless because it's not even your birthday. That's what I did when my (ex) was in Canada.
But, HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Thanks.
Alarm didnt go off, just woke up. Late to sign on, pissed and now on hold to the DWP.....
Really not having a good start to the day.
Ladies and gentlemen, saying happy birthday is now considered rude. On a completely unrelated topic, I have been diagnosed with cancer.
Seriously?
Where and how aggressive?
There is a huge difference between UK and Canada, thats why it would be wrong, but UTC+1 to UTC+2 is hardly a crime.
And TY :)

Every British City/Town ever....
I think its cos Mericans cant navigate so straight lines makes living easy.
That comment was not at all serious but take it however you like I guess.
I'm actually slightly worried about starting to drive, never seen the point considering I study in Cambridge where there is physically no room for any more cars unless you want to spend your life in traffic but I've gotta start learning at some point. More freedom, and a million more chances to get hopelessly lost.
You could say jump on the bus to somewhere like Bury St Edmonds and learn to drive there, it'll be quiet and I cant imagine the bus fare would be expensive.
I know if I was learning to drive and I still lived in Leicester I'd head out to Loughborough and learn there.
I think it's cos the British are too dumb to figure out how to plan a city
>American city streets are organized, must be because they're stupid
nice
Most of our cities are Pre-16th century.
History brah.
Edit: Also found this gem today..

Damned if we do, damned if we don't.
Hence why you don't care, yes? :P
People just have to get to know you better.
I was feeling the same way an hour ago.
I really want to go get my cake tattoo.
