This video shows the burst of each spec in PvP on a 518 item level mage. All the people in this video are above 510 item level except the protection warrior. If you see something that was wrong feel free to help me out next I am making this kind of video. (Prideful gear)
I am aware there are certain class bugs which might influence the burst of a class but that's why I wanted to make this video, so that people can see the burst of all specs in the current state of Frostwolf!

Your Frost DK was slow compared to me :/ I can litteral 2 shot someone, especially a mage.

Hitting a mage is almost like hitting a target dummy, this gave melee classes a nicer look then it actualy is, you should have used a warrior as the punching bag, considering that 60% of the server actually rolls a warrior, other then that, some players were kinda bad, some were good, so this isnt the most accurate thing out there, but nice work, nice editing, good music, keep it up mate :D

Holy Paladin would be your best bet.
Since they dont have passive avoidance, 59k Armor and they can heal through until people get procs for real DPS burst.
I dont mind recording it on my main since I'm a full tyrann part grev Hpala with a really clean UI and block HP frames.

Wouldnt that give casters an advantage? On a mage with low armor like me both casters and melees are on equal standing or am I missing something here?

You should have done more tests and averaged it out for the ranking. RNG can significantly change the killtime on some classes.

Not really since Warriors, Ferals and Rogues avoid armor.
However classes like DKs and Paladins deal magic + physical damage.
Doing it on a weak low armor character is just silly. Why would you pick a squishy target?

Consider hunters.
Auto attack deals physical damage.
Hunters don't have armor penetration.
Armor reduces physical damage.
If you choose a plate class, hunter's damage will show up lower compared to say a mage to whom armor does not matter.

Ya'll were fine with a Holy Pala doing the video in cata....
Giving a low armor target gives Paladins and DKs an advantage.
And TBH how many platewearing classes are there running around on Warmane, oh thats right every other character is a warrior.

If they avoid armor anyway doesn't that mean armor doesn't really matter. It's all personal preference I guess and to me it seemed the most fair to have low physical and magic defense to put everyone on equal ground. I don't know about rogue and warrior but isn't the only thing on a feral that avoids armor the bleed ticks? Putting that spec against a full plate shield wearer seems kinda like a handicap. In my opinion this is the most fair way since no spec is being hindered now by huge armor or resistances. I hope you see my point.
And yes my character is squishy, hell even extra squishy since he didnt have molten armor on himself. But that allows people to see some big crits and what the class is capable off.
