Isboxer help

Hi, i'm looking for someone that understands Isboxer enough to help me set up some Click Buttons for my Shaman Set. What I'm trying to do is have some buttons on my screen that I can click and it'll switch the screen from window 1 to what ever button I click. So let's say, I'm on Window 1 and I click button 3, it switches me over to Window 3 and I can do what ever I need to do, then push another button on screen and it switches me back over to window 1.

I know from watching and reading enough Isboxer Videos, this can be done and it's called Click Buttons, but I'm not really sure how to set things up and get them working at all. So I was wondering if there is anyone here that could lend me some advice and help me get these feature set up? I'm using the Isboxer hack off of the forums here, if that helps and any advice would be appreciated.

As far as I know (havent used ISBoxer for some time now), it already does this when you click on (let's say) Windows 3, automatically. But I may be wrong.

Edit: If I remember right, it has a built-in FTL (Focusless Targetless Leaderless) support.

younggunz35, ISBoxer have "Instant Swapping". So, if setup through "ISBoxer Window wizard" nearly default, u will get instant swapping, So u just need to hover window which you want and click on it. If you mean that you need AoE cast through Click Bars like Mirai do, this is other problem.

ISBoxer has Mouse Broadcast that can be enabled/disabled by keybind.

Aight, let me try and explain things a little better, yes I know I can Alt Left Click the window I wanna swap to and I use two monitors so swapping can be pretty easy at times, but lets just say for the sake of argument that I wanna be lazy....real lazy.

So there I am being lazy and doing some craft stuff on my toons and I have to swap around a good bit, check mailbox, post auctions, set a different toon up to craft as the others a blah blah blah.

Yes I can drag my mouse over to my second monitor and click Alt Left Click, but ya see, that's more work then I wanna do. As I'm crafting on my main monitor and doing my thing, I wanna be able to hit a button.... wait a moment...

I wanna be able to push buttons on my main window (just to be lazy) that switch me over to my other windows, and while i'm on one of my other windows, i wanna be able to push a button on their windows to bring me back to my main window or any other window that I so choose.

I just wanna be able to click buttons and hop around as fast and as smooth as possible.

If i understand u correctly u want a clickbar that makes u able to switch to a different window by clicking on the clickbar right?
There is a ISboxer wizzard mapped key in the Control key maps called " previous window".
Search for the mapped key and copy it. In the actions of the mapped key change the "focus window action" from "rotate forward" to "Slot".
Now copy this mapped key 5 times or more, depending on how many chars u are playing. On each mapped key set a differen slot.
Now just make 5 click bars and on each click bar u execute one of the the mapped keys.

i use F8 through F12 and ALT+F8 through ALT+F12 to swap to my windows (10box).
im not using ISboxer though. but it should also have the same "bind key" to any function, no?

i know this isnt 100% what you asked for.
but if you want something that custom, isboxer might not be able to do it, you'd have to script it.

in HKN you can just setup a panel of overlay buttons at any screen coordinate you want. any size you want. any color/transparency you want etc.
then you make those overlay buttons behave however you want them to.
you could swap window on mouseover, left-click, right-click, thumb-button-click, shift+left-click, ctrl+right-click.....mouseover+hotkey.....whatever you want.

i did it messy. in 2 mins. my math is off with the pixel positions and labels but no matter.
dont think i'll use this, but interesting idea.

i tested it out swapping windows with middle mouse button.

i have a healer clicker setup like this that activates / deactivates with a key toggle (caps lock).

Although I found my solution on my own, I felt compelled to respond to you here.

Yes there is a feature in ISboxer that lets me bind previous and next page to a keybind, that which is cool and all, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for, as I am boxing 5 toons right now (and more to come I'm sure) I wanted something that could hop me over to anyone of my characters.

Example:

I made this buttons
......... ......... ..........
I i I i I I
1 i___i 2 I.........I 3I.........I.4........... 5..........

Now I also found some Icons for the classes I'm playing and I imported those to ISboxer and each of the boxes I made has their respectable class Icon on them.

Now if I'm on toon 1, and I hit button four, I hop over to window 4, and when I'm on button for and I wanna go to any other window, I click the button that I want and I am instantly moved over to that window, and so forth and so on.

I went into Key Maps and created all new binds for swapping windows IE: Ctrl 1, Ctrl 2, Ctrl3, etc, etc and then I went into Click Bars and created a new click bar set called Character Swap and created 5 buttons and gave these 5 buttons their class icons and told them to use the binds I made when pressed. Exported everything, logged in.....and nothing was there. Damn.

So after brainstorming for a moment, I went back into isboxer and looked for the Toggle Broadcast/Formation buttons and learned how those were made and went over and created a Toggle Character Swap bind that lets me turn on and off the Click Bar I just created. Exported it, logged back in, hit my new bind Alt, Ctrol, Shift, and C and bamb my new Click Bar is on my First window, I move it to where i want, hit Sync and it's copied over to all of my pages and works perfectly.

Pretty neat huh?

Anyways, that was my solution and it took a little time, but now it works perfectly and I'm enjoying my boxing toons even more.

and thank you guys for any help or suggestions you made, sorry they weren't what I was looking for, but hey at least you guys were nice enough to post any suggestions you had.

Yeah thats pretty much the same thing like i wanted to do.
My idea was to use the "previous windows" mapped key and change it action so it swap to a specifc slot instead of the previous slot.
Its pretty much the same like making a new mapped key to do it...
