Volue of glyph of Spirit Tap depends on how much spirit you have on your gear. That being said, spirit is nowhere as usefull as for demo (you dont have Demonic Aegis talent). Go for maxumum spellpower, haste and crit. Just before moltdown (and I didnt notice any significant lock changes) affli actually used to be best lock spec everywhere except LK when you were close to bis gear - you always need a demo lock in raid though (10% sp buff for whole raid - if you are the only lock in raid its better for personal dps as well).

Well I am not sure if it will help you focus on game more, since as affli you need to watch a lot more dots than as demo - if you dont your performance will suffer. Give it a shot its different, it seemed more difficult than demo for me, but for you it might be the other way, who knows..

If you need something less difficult you can try out destro as well, its behind both demo and affli in terms of dps, but not by much. It might be a good idea to get familiar with fights with "simple" spec and once you know what to watch for it becomes easier and allows you to focus more on your gameplay.

I didnt play hybrid, so no idea about that one.

You didnt mention anything about it.. but make sure you have a good interface. (Some addon to display all your dots/procs on target, clean screen so you can actually see whats up around you, set up your dbm so you see messages where you want them, GTFO is a great addition - it makes annoying noise anytime you take dmg from avoidable source - standing in flames, etc)

Hybrid is less reliant on CDs and Procs. IIRC, just keep up Immolate and Corr, spam Incinerate, and do Conflagrate on CD. When I used to play Demo, I tried hybrid and thoguht it was too boring. Since Incinerate is your main filler, you don't need to switch from SB to Incinerate on MC procs. In my experience with Afflic, people who play it always complain about dots falling off or their gear being wrong or some issue; I've read very often that it's the best dps, but I've never seen it myself, just unhappy afflocks. I think you'd want to stack haste, then SP, and prefer crit to spirit, but the more spirit you have the more Glyph of Life Tap helps. The rotation really isn't all that hard though. Put up CoE, Haunt, UA, Corr, refresh Haunt and UA when they end, spam SBolt to fill, and switch the SBolts to Drain Soul below 25%. If I were you, I'd go hybrid.

I used to be one of the happy ones.

Tricky part about the rotation is timing, casting Haunt and UA after they expire is significant dps loss - its ideal to start casting them before they expire (so your cast finishes just after expiration). If you start too early - you loose last tick (its ok to clip Haunt, but not UA), too late - lower uptime. Your corruption lasts under 10s and you need to keep it up with other casts -> its easy to loose if you have to move a lot. Also you are using CoA insted of CoE if you have unholy/boomkin in raid. (small dps increase, but still another dot to watch for).
