I've got clinical depression, and the only reason I've stayed alive is because of a figment of imagination I managed to delude myself with to the point where I believed it was reality. Now that I realize how stupid it all was, I can't find a reason to live anymore.

I'm planning on committing suicide in September once I get my antidepressants, assuming things don't go well in the next month.

I can relate. I was stuck on this song for months. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diaHnF-zfEg . But I recommend finding things that you can embrace and look forward to. I know it's cliche, but that'll be the only way you can start moving away from such thoughts. Focus on small goals that leads to larger goals. Weed out the unhappy thoughts. Things will get better. And if you'd like a stranger to listen to you rant, feel free to PM me. Letting things out also helps a lot. I'm no doctor, or anyone really, just another person that can listen well.

Yeah. I was on songs like that for a while. Last year I even got depressed and stopped eating. No one at school noticed though, I joke alot with friends IRL. And I'm just like you, the listener ;).

Having a fallout in listening to new music. It has to do with the superficial music itself and the on-going streaming wars in America. Kanye, Taylor, Jay-Z... I respect your works but the world doesn't revolve around you, so much so as your egotistic lyrics.

Right now, I'm listening to a lot of classic rock, country, and a bit of foreign. Mostly music from the 70's to the 2000's. I guess my resentment to listening new music has to do with my resentment to the society I'm living in.
