Hello,i want to start to play rogue on MoP.so I have2 questions
1.Whats the best talents for leveling
2.Whats the best talents for pvp

for the most part just pick what u think u like the best Burst of Speed is pretty good for leveling

If you're new to rogue class in MoP, go with assassination. easiest spec for rogues.
Venomous wounds doesn't scale with mastery tho -.-

I'm kinda disappointed from Subtlety spec, it's low sustain damage. But after all my ilvl is 482.

About the thread, i suggest you to go with Assassination, it's the easiest spec.

Rogue Spec Comparison: (NOTE: This is only my opinion)

Assassination spec is the easiest spec and it has good sustained damage, the spec is very good for Battlegrounds and World PvP.

Combat have very nice burst, it can one shot people within 3 seconds (if the player have nice gear), but Combat Rogues outside Cd's are just **** It's very good spec for 1v1 (Duels), Random Battlegrounds, Combat rogues have the best stun of all classes, when you pick the talent Paralytic Poison, combined with Revealing Strike and Kidney Shot, your stun can last 12 seconds which is very very good. The spec is also very good for Arenas (Below 2000 rating, after 2k rating it's too predictable)

Subtlety spec is very good for Serious PvP, Arenas (above 2k), World PvP, Duels and Rated Battlegrounds. It has higher skill-cap, sub rogues have a decent burst (shadow dance can be used for one shoting people and for Crowd Control, and it's cooldown is just 1 minute which is very good). But the sustain damage is low. (That is not really a problem) Subtlety rogue is very good for CONTROL, and if the player is good, it can be very good for one shoting people. I suggest you to try all three specs, and play the spec that fits your style the most.

Rogue Spec Comparison (DETAILED)

Assassination:
A deadly master of poisons who dispatches victims with vicious dagger strikes.
Tools: Mutilate, Dispatch, Envenom and Vendetta.

Strengths:
- Decent sustained / burst damage.
- Slice and Dice is refreshed with each Envenom.
- Dispatch helps during execute phases.

Weaknesses:
- Vendetta can't be switched to other targets.
- Can get a bit boring after a while.

Best Suited to: Battlegrounds (Normal & Rated), World PvP.

Combat:
A swashbuckler who uses agility and guile to stand toe-to-toe with enemies
Tools: Revealing Strike, Killing Spree, Adrenaline Rush and Blade Flurry.

Strengths:
- Can global people with Killing Spree.
- 8 seconds Kidney Shot thanks to Revealing Strike (12 sec. if the talent Paralytic Poison is active)
- Doesn't rely on re-stealth to do damage.
- Two Bursts (Adrenaline Rush + Shadow Blades & Killing Spree)
- Good Sustained damage.
- Fast combo-generation during CD's.
- CC avoider / root breaker with Killing Spree.
- Blade Flurry cleaving in large scale PvP.
- Good synchronism with Paralytic Poison / Prey on the weak.
- DECENT BURST. (Can one shot people within 3 seconds with KS)

Weaknesses:
- Damage requires ramp up time.
- Requires non-daggers weapons (that means you can't off-spec sub or mut in the beginning of a pvp season)
- Weak damage outside of burst cooldowns.
- Low combo points generation.
- Subtlety openers are stronger
- Bandit's Guile is where your pressure will come from, but Crowd Control chains can ruin your stack before it reaches Deep Insight.

Best Suited To: Duels, Arenas (2v2), Battlegrounds (Rated), World PvP.

Subtlety:
A dark stalker who leaps from the shadows to ambush his unsuspecting prey.
Tools: Backstab, Hemorrhage, Shadow Dance and Premeditation.

Subtlety has been regarded as the "Skilful" rogue PvP spec for a long time.
This spec will always outshine the other two in serious PvP, arenas (3v3, 5v5) and Rated Battlegrounds.

Strengths:
- Strong Burst Damage.
- Can sap / slience during Shadow Dance.
- Good sync with Marked for Death and Anticipation.
- Sub rogue's strongest ability "Shadow Dance" is on 1 minute cooldown.
- Very High Skill Cap.

Weaknesses:
- Weak sustained damage outside of Shadow Dance.
- Positional requirement of Backstab and other abilities.

Best Suited To: Arenas 3v3, 5v5, Battlegrounds (Normal and RATED), World PvP, Duels etc...Serious PvP.
