Hello Warmane.
maybe you all saw my suggestion but i will resay it.
My pc is broken, so cant play wow.
And if i cant play wow I cant vote.
my pc will be fixed in the next 2 months.
2 months mean 60 days mean 600 points.
i cant vote because i cant log in my account.
and none of my friends play wow so cant give to anyone my account to vote for me.
plz do something, let us vote even if we didnt log in our account.
u all know that before hack we could vote even if we didnt log in.
plz do something.
Thank you.
Hey Rabiheid2000, the voting system now is seen more like a reward for being active in-game, not a server promotion in different sites. Although it's bad luck for you not being able to play, I doubt Warmane awards you the amount of points you're asking for, not even a part, since it's not how the system works and it could be easily be abused.
Hi Njaalsen.
You are right about what u said but i really need these points. And imagine that your PC is broken and you really need these points, what will you do ?
You wait 2 months and 600 points are gone ?
Anyway thank you for your reply and i dont think that warmane will do that because u were really right about what u said.
Actually the only things you can do are either wait for these 2 months, get your hands on another pc before that one is repaired or get a friend of yours to download wow and help you. If my pc broke, most likely I would quit for 2 months.
As Njaalsen said, votes have been turned into a reward for activity in game. Currently you can get the full amount at once by just logging in, but the plans for the future were to make it actually based on how long you were in game - just logging in and out would get you no points, for example. We want our players enjoying the work we put into having our servers up and improving, not just click somewhere and hog points without even playing. That's what were here for after all - for people to play.
IMHO, no one is gonna stalk a player for 10 minutes just to see whether he jumps or not to file a report. Maybe you should reconsider who the point are going to be distributed. Sadly I can't propose any alternative by now...

Just as Njaalsen said + if someone is for example waiting just for raid last 15 minutes he will have to "jump" once to dont get kicked however we wont wait 15 + mins just to report, so if someone stands there for hours without any activity there should be a system to detect it before making such vp farm
There are anti-idle systems, which is why people abuse clickers and the like to do something and avoid the automatic kick. Besides watching every player simultaneously, there isn't much that can be done. I could be wrong, but I believe this is a problem even on retail. There's no automatic way to detect if someone is just standing there because they are chatting or reading a quest description or a wiki page about what to do next, and people who are just AFK and taking the spot of another player.
Right now the current system is flawed anyways. We want to reward people for playing, but you can just log in and log out right away and be eligible for the points. In a way, people already are farming them and going against our intention by doing that. I'm not sure if there's a possible fail-proof choice, so we might have to compromise when/if that idea gets implemented.
i honestly dislike the current vote system, i have been a member and a donor to molten since 2012~ and now all i get is 0.3 points per day, it takes me 100 days to get 1 icc level item.. 100 days !!!!
