Once some guy came around my counter and tried to glass me with his beer bottle, because I told him he couldn't drink in the store... Customers are hella scary sometimes.

Yeah, most companies will tell their employees to not be a hero. One of my friends worked at a outlet clothing store and she always witnessed people just walk in, grab a cart filled with clothes and walk out and she wasn't allowed to chase after them or confront them. All she was allowed to do was notify her boss.

You know you work in a **** neighborhood when there is a glass between you and the customer...and you're working a fast food restaurant....a place that doesn't necessarily need that type of security unless if it's located in a **** neighborhood.
