Warmane destroys competitive PvE once again.
The damage dps classes do at the moment is totally overpowered. (Buffstacking, etc.) And now you are releasing SoO gear?
Even 535 itemlevel gear is too high. You should consider giving no loot at all to not totally unbalance PvE.
We don't even have Throne of Thunder trinkets working properly.
What about this trinket which drops from Immerseus http://www.wowhead.com/item=112426/p...erseus&bonus=0
Before anything SoO content related is releaseed we should get a full Throne of Thunder HEROIC release with fixed buffstacking to make PvE competitive again.
It is just absurd to clear past content with our current itemlevel and damage done.
I can remember when you announced that MSV Heroic will bring Realm First achievements.
What we have now? MSV heroic is hardly in a state where it is enjoyable. Did you ever look at Elegon encounter?
Spirit Kings gets counted as completed when you kill the first boss...
Not even speaking of ToES heroic. Heart of fear 2 bosses (...) Not even close to heroic.
I hope this Devlog announcement is a mistake and even if it is not, PLEASE don't let people get hands on the loot from SoO.

I hope this thread helps to turn the heads of the Warmane team, since it is getting ridiculous.
As much as I am looking for SoO, this is definitely not the right time!
ToT nm -> ToT hc -> SoO nm -> SoO hc
I don't understand why they don't get this :/
They can add gear without changing the patch, but yes, most of the players wants them to move to the last patch (5.4.8) of MoP, because the classes were fairly balanced on that and the changes to resilience were significant, which means that there wont be 3shooting specs anymore and it would make PVP alot more fun and enjoyable. But Kaer said that patch 5.4.8 wont come anytime soon, so we can only hope for Prideful.
Having read through all posts on multiple topics about this devlog, I can only see a minor few that want this update to happen. And that is for Prideful, and some even against because there was only one season of Griev, which couldn't even considered fair.
If anyone from Warmane reads this, which I doubt they can ignore, it is overwhelmingly clear that the change to abandon(yes, abandon) ToT for SoO is a mistake. You are essentially skipping tier content to rush to the finish with SoO and compete in WoD. There are many things left undone to which Cataclysm had in its beginning stages. Now, I am just one person, and to say it is inexcusable to do such a thing wouldn't mean much. But you are simultaneously destroying PvP and PvE in one go with such a thoughtless update. Unlike the release of Heart of Fear or Throne of the Four Winds in later stages, this update matters a lot.
This server needs a complaint section, doesn't even have to be on the forum, just a general complaint section to which people can out their frustration about something.
They also said SoO won't come before ToT is fully released, and look at the announcement.
Actualy, this is the 2nd season for Grievous, well it will end in like 2 months, and most people already are fully geared on multiple chars, from a PVP perspective it would be stupid to not add the next season because the majority of the server is PVP oriented and being stuck on the same season for more then 6 months (which will happen after this season ends) will be repulsive to players and which will only lead to activity drops and player leavings.
And I hope you understand that by releasing Prideful you will only invite inactivity for PvE'ers as they mostly do not want to do PvP to get gear to do their PvE content. It is not a valid arguement to say "Most of them are PvP'ers". Also both seasons of PvP are botched because of class issues that are either too beneficial or underwhelming. I hope you do not consider those 2 seasons to be wholeheartedly balanced. But that's my two cents on that matter.
I completly understand that, but also, there wont be a class balance until the server goes 5.4.8 patch, because resilience atm is pretty much non existent, there are classes which can basicly kill you in 3 seconds, without the changes which came with the last patch of MoP we wont have balanced PVP.
Relax people. It was I who wrote the devlog and I assumed that people wanted to have a taste of the Siege of Orgrimmar content in the implementation of Immerseus. We're fine postponing any Siege of Orgrimmar encounter release until the next season while scripting those bosses in the background until the Prideful season is released together with hopefully a fully working Norushen by that time.
So we will get prideful with the start of the next season?
Completely agree. Yes lots of ppl have full Griv. but everything is still unbalanced due to tons of game braking bugs. What we need is them to start using their heads for a change and do things that matter. And by that I mean focusing on class fixes, buff stacking issues and freaking lag. I mean there are things on bugtracker that are opened for ages. Once we have at least worst issues sorted out, than we can actually enjoy 1 of the seasons, cause everything so far is just a joke - bugs and exploits all over the place. I simple can't understand this pace of development.
That's good to hear, I hope you consider releasing SoO after ToT HC, releasing them 3-4 bosses at a time(wing style).
Thanks for your quick response to this matter, it's appreciated.
Considering that Prideful (S15) and Siege of Orgrimmar make up the final endgame of Mists of Pandaria their release will be also be simultaneous. How far and in each boss mode (raid finder/flex/normal/heroic) depends on our success and development pace, which as you can see is high now, even too high according to some people. Also reminding that developers scripting boss encounters and developers working on classes are different.
You're welcome. We must also keep in mind some delicate facts such as encounter complexity, for example Norushen, Siegebreaker Blackfuse (with belts) and Garrosh are much more complex to script than for example Immerseus Thok the Bloodthirsty. Optimizing development and maintaining balance is no trivial task on its own, and it is something for community members to keep in mind also.
