Frostwolf is the Mists of Pandaria expansion.

Frostwolf is a Realm on the Mists of Pandaria Expansion section, you're talking about Wrath of the Lich King which won't allow you to enter into Frostwolf as it is not the same. There are 3 different clients for each expansion, there will never be a client for all at once.

Indeed. You will need a Mists of Pandaria client in order to play on Frostwolf.
