why am i not able to discover [Jewelcrafting: Inscribed Vermilion Onyx] ?? i have been doing [Jewelcrafting: Vermilion Onyx] since 25 days and i keep getting the items of the recipes i already have... is there is some bug i missed or its just random and my luck sucks??

I have no luck with some orange gems too. I don't know if it's bug or our bad luck, but it sucks.

Same thing here. It sucks Have you guys tried the research with spirits of harmony? does it make any difference? thanks.

I did 10 researches with spirits of harmony, 3 times I got 0 gems! The rest were not that great.

I do not know if they changed anything but I knew before sometimes I'd got for days w/o anything, other days I'd get 3 at a time. Its broken because you are supposed to always get at least one I think.

Ok, so there appears to be some missing from the loot table. Here is what I got before I gave up:

RED: ALL
BLUE: ALL
YELLOW: ALL
PURPLE: 12/14
ORANGE: 13/22
GREEN: 15/19

It might be more than just RNG. When I discovered orange gems, I realized that I mostly got the same gems over and over, until one day I finally got the Inscribed gem.

If everyone has this issue, then it is probably a bug.

It's bugged. You should always learn 1 new gem cut. So far I have managed to discover all except 2 orange and 2 green recipes.

Yes, it should produce one 1 one every time guarenteed, in the color that you are doing. So its buggered badly. However I guess it'll never be fixed because I searched bug tracker for a bug report on it, and I seen a couple that described the issue nicely that were dismissed as "duplicate", but there is no original. Or at least I could not find it. If someone can find it can you link it here so that we can all vote it up. thanks.
