Pls no more comments about whose guild is better or w/e. thats not the place!
If there is gonna be another reply here, i really hope it is connected to the theme - Cataclysm tanks in warmane!
Which would mean to describe a class, saying what dosnt work here, what does, how strong it is while gearing, with bis, for aoe and for single target? Is it viable at all, do people play it, why not, how much difficult it is and so on?
A big fat comment that will help a player who wants to roll a tank!
P.S. since there are a lot of good guides in internet i think the most important is to say what does and dosnt work here, and how does it affect your game experience :)

Since noone gave a detailed reliable answer to this topic i will go for it.
Currently best options in best to worst order are:
-Guardian Feral Druid: Depends on avoidance and its mastery works similar to blood deathknights with the main difference being it doesn't stack so you may need to use your brain a little more in demanding encounters.(Can solotank full ds hc except Spine hc in bis, theoriticaly spine hc too if tendons die 1shot) Also it is more enjoyable to play than blood dks and palas.
-Protection Paladin: Has ALOT of defensive cooldowns as well as very useful raid cooldowns. Depends on ctc pretty much and cd timing. Does best in spell damage encounters in regard to other tank options. Not very fun to play but feels strong. Can also solotank full ds hc in bis except Spine hc but has a harder time on solotanking Ultraxion hc and Warmaster hc than druid.
-Blood DeathKnight: Depends on Stamina and Mastery. Uses parry/dodge like other tanks but since blood deathknights dont have the ctc cap you mainly aim to get as much mastery and stamina as possible. Requires you to always have to do dps on bosses to ensure survivability(Something to keep in mind in fights where leader might call "stop dps" you may want to call it out earlier so you can continue using Death Strike or pop a cd) People usually claim Blood Deathknights being the 1 button tanks but that will not get you anywhere in heroic raiding. Timing cooldowns, Debuff stacks reseting, keeping Bone-Shield up, Stacking Blood Shield, Proper use of self heals, Anti-magic shell usage are all things that make a good blood deathknight in cataclysm. Blood Deathknights cannot solotank Spine hc and Warmaster hc(not recommended but you can potentially solotank warmaster hc as a blood dk using the vp tank trinket and timing it with dancing rune weapon when your sunden armor stacks have 11-10 seconds of duration left in order to reset them)
-Protection Warrior: Depends solely on Parry and Dodge since his mastery isn't currently working. Shield block ability doesn't give critical block beyond the block cap so it becomes pretty worthless vs physical damage in end-game gear. Getting ctc is hard and unless you have long-term experience as a warrior tank it is not recommended to tank before getting to 395 ilvl(having spine dodge trinket is a must). Also you should gem stamina in 403+ ilvl because this is the only way for protection warriors to soak spell damage. Due to mastery being bugged consider Intomidable Pride>Soulshifter Vortex in all encounters. Warrior is mostly prefered as an offtank since they are one of the top dps classes on cata and because they make great offtanks in spine hc. Warrior's T13 4-set bonus isn't working making warrior as main tanks even less desireable(t13 warr 4set bonus is a very nice 20% dmg reduction raid cd) Protection Warrior is very fun to play with however, in my opinion the protection warrior kiting in cata is the most enjoyable thing i have ever done in cataclysm pve, but beyond that you will either find yourself loving the protection warrior gameplay or absolutely hating it and dropping the spec soon after. While it is possible to Main-Tank full DS HC you can only solotank the encounters that are made to be solotankable(Can't solotank ultrax hc, Warmaster hc, Spine hc and needs help to manage to solotank madness hc.)
This is pretty much how it is for Tanks in warmane's cataclysm. I gave more details for some tanks due to me having more experience playing with them but i believe i haven't missed anything on any of them. If i were you i'd go for Guardian Feral Druid for it being both fun and good to play with otherwise Protection Paladin if i was just getting into Cataclysm Tanking and want to start out with something easy.
