Hello everybody, Kurthadron here, and today I was planning on starting to play Warmane after joining it, I already have all the expansion packs downloaded from here and so forth, but which expansion is the best expansion pack to play and please provide me with your opinions. thank you.

To be honest wait for the Lordaeron 1x realm! I think it's gonna be amazing :) it's wrath btw

This depends on what is wanted.
The first month is levelling to level 60, the subsequent month is burning crusade content. With the third month being Wrath content. If you want to wait 3 months before raiding Naxxramas and Obsidian Sanctum with a few dungeons, then yes. It is the realm for you.
If you want to get straight into the action with x7 experience rates, then choose Ragnaros or Deathwing. Asking which to choose is ridiculous since the people of each realm will criticise the other realm saying that their realm is better. Just choose any realm. They're all the same.
Ultimately, it depends on whether you want to wait 3 months before raiding the very first raids and dungeons at Lordaeron, or access all the content now
on Ragnaros or Deathwing with x7 rates.
Note that when Lordaeron is released: only Obsidian Sanctum and Naxxramas will be released, and only 9 of the 16 dungeons that were initially released with the release of Wrath of the Lich King.

Well I'm basically still new to World of Warcraft. I have never ever reached max level nor raided before or even pvped or anything at all. So I think i'll wait for Lordaeron to be released to experience a retail WoW experience x) Thanks guys

No they won't. Everything you do or obtain on PTR, will be deleted when the main realm starts.

It will be... nothing new. WOTLK is old and Lordaeron will be a flop. 2 Servers WOTLK are enough. Those two are not even full. Why would someone from current WOTLK switch to the new realm? This is the biggest missmanagement ever and a total waste of time and ressources.

Because the 2 present LK servers are fun realms.
Lordaeron will not be a p2w fun turbo realm. The difference lies in this latter sentence.
Level up your patience attribute and you shall see.

i've been saying this from the get go. lord was a dead realm back on molten. and i don't expect it to be any better on warmane. i give it a few weeks, after the initial rush dies out, and it'll be the same old low populated server it was.

Hehehe just seeing all the negative are you? It's gonna be HARDER to get gear and it's gonna be progressive as well as no p2w BULL****! You have to EARN your gear rather then just throw your wallet at it... A lot of resources and scripting is going into Lord (hence the new core of the realm) so i think it will be amazing! I expect a full realm at launch almost. Also raids will be harder (buffing Naxx with naxx 40 mechanics, no buff in ICC, Ulduar will be hard cause of progressive content)
Meh it became dead becasue of the transfers and perhaps but i think it will be huge once it actually hits but that's just my opinion and from ''other sources'' :) Lol give it a few weeks! Bro the progressive experience i think will make it actually grow to a large pop server and tight the bonds between players..

we'll see. hopefully it does become popular. otherwise all the time spent on it will be a waste. i just can't see the appeal to the slow leveling speed. tried it many times before, and it was boring as hell.

Well even if the realm itself is a flop they will still have gotten something extremely valuable out of it in the form of a brand new core, which if it lives up to what I've heard about it, will be one of the better cores out there. You could even almost consider Lordaeron(Even when it goes live) to be sort of like an on-going beta test for this new core.
And it's quite a big deal(in my opinion), because a new core is a rather large effort, and to get one that supposedly works as well as this one is supposed to is quite something.

Already has been said, but it is the most important thing that 90% of time spend on it is re-usable in the other realms, even if lordaeron would become a flop.

The crash here did not happen that long ago... complain about the lack of hastiness of the devs> but its evident in the lordaeron project that Kaer and crew are on a mission. Some people scoff at this 'bogus attempt to rehash another failure'.. but what they are missing in Lordaeron > is that this is the foundation just mentioned. The key to expand outward into other xpacs.
Lordaeron, representing LK, is the concrete, Catas the carpet, MoP the light fixtures. exmpl.

The PTR realm speaks for itself. Fact.
old lord yaa it ended up fizzled in a 'sense', in the sense that transfers, free vote gear and over easy donation gear would likely destroy a realm that didnt realize the total change those decisions would ultimately have on it.
As far as 1x rates goes> what a never ending argument.... keyword is 'argument', without anyone to oppose, wed never hear it brought up.
Turbo realms and P2W are garbage - that opinion is out there.
1x rate suxxx. Farmin for gear, for lack of its easy obtain-ability, and using the mundane proffessions is boring... that opinion exist.
There is a 1x vanilla realm with no p2w and no vote gear w/ up to 9k active people online. we could say, its because its vaniller!! ...nonetheless theirs atleast on average 7.5k people normally playing a 1x no p2w no free vote gear WoW realm out there...whatever the xpac it may be..
...Wotlk is UP there as far most popular xpacs....
That leaves us at the gates of Lordaeron. It will either flop again (it wont). Worst case scenario is EVERYBODY here will win.
