Hello guys i`ve been playing this game for like 4-5 years(So i know at least something about this game) and I just heard about legion , all these new artifact weapons , new honor system(more balanced pvp) new raids and etc..
So i heard a lot of people say that WOD is complete garbage(havent tried by myself) and wondered if we can skip the WOD and go straight for Legion.
It might suck aswell (im posting this too early:D)
BUT if its better than WOD and even MOP i think we should do that if possible.
Cons:
---If its a good expansion many people who quit will be happy and maybe come back to warmane
---Retail community-we would be able to use fresh new guides, forum posts and personally i learned how to play many classes from retail wow streams.
Pros:
---Skipping WOD-i know it wouldnt be possible to skip wod content, but we could skip some scripting raids, garrisons(noone liked them),ashran and pointless stuff(selfies).
Thank you for reading this post,it might be pointless or stupid or anything like this, but dont rage in the comments
Some people in this community.........
That post was about wod not legion
Ignore him, he is one of the bad eggs, goes out of his way to start a fight many of us think he is just lonely.
Anyway On-topic, I think this would be a great idea, it is still WAY WAY too early to say anything about legion, but I think 90% of the people will agree that WoD was just a fail expansion. And to be honest that phasing would be an *** to script, even to this day I see bugs on retail in the phasing ^.^

And I guess you and "many" of your friends are those kinds of little pricks that like to provoke and then later on, look damn surprised when they get a response. I mean, your post is obviously made in a way that requires a response, aka, a fight starter. So here you're actually doing the same damn thing you're accusing me of. Maybe you should follow your own advice and use that ignore. Or continue being a prick, I don't mind and couldn't care less either way.
I don't think it's actually possible to 'skip' an expansion. The expansion is probably a dependency for every expansion that follows behind it, and while that could be edited or fixed, you're asking for a -lot- of trouble trying to do something like that. Most expansions are built on the back of the one that preceded it, with the expectation that that data and those assets will be there.
And while it -may- be possible, it's far more likely to be more work than it's worth.
Legion isnt even out.... Why are we even having this discussion? Ppl like OP are as hyped about this expac as players were when they announced WoD. Look what happened to that.
And honestly, all arguments about how Legion is a great expac can be disregarded at this point simply because it's not even out yet....

All 3 of our hosted expansions have been scripted seperate of each other up until now, just for the record.

But are they able to run without each other? That's what I'm not sure of. And even if they did and you skipped an expansion, how would people get the gear and levels to get to the next one?
