  • No, leave it as it was in WotLK

    178 38.36%
  • Yes, increase the damage and HP of the bosses

    69 14.87%
  • Yes, add mechanics of old Naxx to the WotLK version

    217 46.77%
  1. If the Staff simply wanted it, there would be no poll.
But why should I even be surprised that if the Administration decides something, people complain, and if they let people vote for it, people complain.

  2. add old mechanics. naxx was faceroll

  3. And the poll is really confusing, you give the option of adding some old Naxxramas mechanics without explaining which ones you would add.
How are you supposed to make a serious vote if you dont know what you get from it.
Im pretty sure i made myself clear here

I even gave you a link where you can read up on ALL of the changes and i kept repeating that we wont add stuff which was designed around 40 players or which would make the instance impossible to clear

  4. You forget that people will be doing Naxx in around 200ilvl gear. Also, people are absolutely clueless when it comes to Naxx. Very few guilds will be able to clear it at first even as it is right now. Blizzard's main mistake with old Naxx was how hard they made it and how late they released it, resulting in VERY few guilds having cleared it at all. Don't do the same mistake. The raid will become more frustrating than actually challenging and fun. My vote is a hard "NO".

Of course, if a guild knows what it's doing, then Naxx will not be a challenge for them, but assuming that most of the guilds will know Naxx in case your WotLK realms all have opened and unscripted FoS+PoS, ToC, OS etc. etc. free EoTs, free T9 etc. etc. without ever attempting T7 & T8 content, and will be geared for Naxx when attempting it is silly. If you want hard raids, make sure Ulduar will be 101% scripted. Leave Naxx as it is.
The entire first tier of wotlk was cleared within 48 hours of the expansion launching. The first guilds clearing it were in ilevel 160 sunwell gear.

And when it launches, it will be the only raid available.

Maybe make 10 easier than 25, but 25 needs to be a little bit harder than "clear it in gear from the last expansion" hard.

And Warmane dosen't release unscripted dungeons. When players first hit level 80 on Lorderon they will only be able to raid Naxx as an end game raid, Ulduar / ToC / etc will be closed, as will the ToC 5 man and the ICC 5 mans.

    What about EoE and OS?

  6. im curious how you guys are going to decide what to do with naxx. Because right now its 154 players that wants naxx to be harder but in different ways and 105 that wants it to be easy faceroll. Can we get an answer on ho you guys are going to decide what to do

More votes needed, as it is now not enough players are for the difficulty increase

  8. My only problem with making it too easy is the content is going to be cleared too fast and then people will get bored and either a. Quit. Or b. Complain that there's nothing to do, forcing warmane to release the next content prematurely.

What are you talking about, 60% of all votes is in favor of some sort of difficulty increase. The biggest amount of votes is infavor for vanilla mechanics ..

Well 268 people apart of ca 15k active players across all realms (this is just aprox) it's a lot of people who has not voiced their opinions but i would say only 2-5k people would care about it since they play on the wotlk realms...

  11. Please no custom content. If you really think tier 7 was totally faceroll then just released tier 8 earlier, Ulduar was the best

  12. Although I voted with no because i am no fan of custom content, I can see reality in improving the instance by adding some of the old features if it is done carefully, and I see majority does want some kind of extra spice.
My opinion is that it could work out fine as long as the instance resembles the wotlk version more than the old one.

My 2 cent worth, please note i am not 100,00% informed (honestly cba to read it up in detail) on how things worked in the 3.0 beta, let alone vanilla, so ill talk in general.
(+ I wont say a word about the possible 40man features or anything that makes the raid impossible since you clarified you would avoid those)

    1. Only bosses should be anyhow affected, god save us from the trash getting buffed
    2. Bosses in each wing could be given the extra boosts progressively, i.eg. Patchwerk would be same as wotlk, while Gluth would be spiced up for challenge. This could allow the noobish folks to have some things to farm (first bosses) while clearing the whole wing would take some guts. It would greatly slow down overall progression, but not discourage players from running the instance, since there would be still easy bosses to grind.
    3. Should not add anything that is time consuming to script. We would rather live without the extra feature than wait just 1 more week for the launch. (yes, most players are crazy hyped)
    4. Should not add mechanisms that entirely change the aspect of a fight (even if its still doable like that). For example "Loatheb put a debuff on you that allowed you only 1 heal per minute" is something I believe is far from just some extra difficulty factor, but an inevitable mechanism that greatly alters the fight itself. (the setup, the strats, everything)

  13. Please no custom content. If you really think tier 7 was totally faceroll then just released tier 8 earlier, Ulduar was the best
No no and just no! You should not skip tier content really.... It's not custom content cause the mechanics were actually gonna be in the game (i believe it was alpha or beta not sure) so it's not custom content at all...

Also to Shonel read this as well. Naxx was piss easy so they should make it harder simple. It's not custom content if the features and mechanics WERE gonna be implemented but NEVER did.

IT IS CUSTOM CONTENT, anyway if u are going to add something just incerese health and damage of bosses and specify that on the server info so that new players are not confussed.
Something like "Lordaeron: x1 Hardcore server (bosses have hp and damage incressed to make it more challenging)"

Well, as I said, i'm not fully against it. For me its semi-custom, just like transmog (exists on blizz just not exactly on this patch). Honestly I just fear they will screw it up when it comes to extra additions... also that it would cause delay on the release.
