Well, as I said, i'm not fully against it. For me its semi-custom, just like transmog (exists on blizz just not exactly on this patch). Honestly I just fear they will screw it up when it comes to extra additions... also that it would cause delay on the release.
It wont delay the release in any way, Northrend will be released 2 months after the release of Lordaeron.
As for it being custom content.... yea that's tricky. The only difference from completely custom stuff is that its already in the game, just disabled and scrapped. Transmogrification is different, it is not in the wotlk database or scripts as it was added during cata, while naxx is just a modified version of the classic one
My only problem with making it too easy is the content is going to be cleared too fast and then people will get bored and either a. Quit. Or b. Complain that there's nothing to do, forcing warmane to release the next content prematurely.
What maru said. Nerfed naxx is going to be cleared in 1-2 days of northrend release and then people are going to start QQing about new content

If that happens the next tear will be released two weeks after they clear it, ulduar is in a good state already and its quite challenging and toc is good even in the first revisions

I just dont think its really fair to the community to release the next tier after one guild clears the raid, and are you guys going to have a 2-3 week pvp season only the first tier? Just curious how this is going to work out since that the majority of players wants the harder version even if its just Damage and health or the old mechanics

The way they will be doing it is perfect, for the first realm achievements!!!

Yeah that would be really quick raiding tier. How are you gonna expect raiders to gear up our characters before the new tier is released? If we clear Naxxaramas pretty quickly and we just have dungeon/rep/craftable epics to do Ulduar with? That's gonna be impossible to say the least! We might get some loot from the few Naxx runs we do before the new content is out but that's not gonna gear the entire or even half of the raid. Also i'm also concerned as Oldozz said about pvp gear since if we clear the Naxx and then the new raid is coming out which is Ulduar, the ones with Ulduar gear are gonna smash those who are stuck with Hateful/Dreadful gear in PVP. If the pvp season last 2-3 weeks that would be catastrophic and cause major unbalance between PVE and PVP. Just curious of how Warmane thinks of this issue? I'm looking forward to do Naxx nonetheless :)!

First of all you dont know that. The poll is still going and and there is a minority of players that wants the nerfed version. If they decide to do that how are they going to do with the PvP seasons?
Although you should let Ulduar a little more time than 2 weeks
In my opinion every raid tier/PvP season should be out for atleast 2-3 months. I dont see the point of rushing content so it can become like Deathwing and Ragnaros with ppl farming POS/FOS/HOR and then just jump in to ICC.

The point is that you have this options: you add custum (or semi-custom as you like to call it) to make tier 7 not boring, or release fast the tiers to not become boring, or you could only do that with tier 7 but not the others, you could also just let people wait a little more with the boring tier 7 and they will wait without problem, we have to wait 2 months to go to Northred anyway.
The best would be to relese tiers with 3 months of diference. You could make an exception to tier 7 and just have it one month.
So it would be best like:
Outland - 1 mounth after
Northred, DKs, tier 7 - 2 months after
tier 8 - 3 months after
tier 9 - 6 months after
tier 10- 9 months after

but your forgetting that you have to make it work together with the PvP seasons... it takes about 2-3 months to get all the AP items
But yet we are at the same problem from the beggining, those BC fanboys probably say Wotlk was the worst expansion because of tier 7, just start with tier 8 and relese tier 9 four mounths letter
