New "detection for the few third party cheating software"
would like to know a bit more clear info about it.
I'm using N52te gamepad which allows you to make keymacroes (press 1 for make the gamepad press like 1-2-3-4 and so on), same goes for my Razer Naga
Does is considered third party software even if is connected and created by Razer themselfs?
WOuld like to know before i log in WOW, in order to avoid an unnecessary and unfair ban.
ThXX
Really no idea why you think any of that would have anything to do with cheating. Unless... you're using them to cheat somehow.
Simply because i've read around the internet that such things are similar to AutoHotKey, which i've read around that there is a % that say its bannable and a % that it isnt.
So im just considering in ask if such programs are considered fine (as are supposed to be, as they are given with the Gamepad/Mouse) or not. http://www.belkin.com/n52te/index1.html http://www.razerzone.com/it-it/gaming-mice/razer-naga
As i dont know exactly what third party software means (except for the well know GDC and Flyhack), im stepping to ask such things.
I haven't had a problem with my razer naga and its software as of yet. Edifice has assured us in the past that are no false positives, either.
ok, would like if possible a solid answer by any staff member about:
- N52te software
- Razer Naga Software
- Autohotkey program which from what i read around internet works the same as the ones im using above
Ok, don't believe me, but posting in the community forum isn't the way to go about getting a staff member to speak with you. o.O
private message one instead.

THanks
keybinding software is not hack, from my point of view.

Sentinel detects programs that modify memory used by WoW. Those macro keys only emulate key presses, which doesn't directly interact with the game. I am also using Razer Naga and there are no problems. Such programs are allowed as long as there is a physical key press involved in the action, otherwise it could be considered botting but I don't think Sentinel detects that also.
#7: No Threads Intended To Call Staff Attention -- If you really want to talk to us, send a PM to the correct department; the forums are not a platform for your drama. General inquiries towards the staff (What's next in development?; Threads that dictate otherwise; etc.) are the only exceptions. Infractions for this offense will not result in a ban right away, but the points do accumulate.
