I've considered making this my permanent home, so I want to ask players here why they play on Warmane. As I've seen, it is a well populated server with some bugs, but nothing game breaking (as far as I know).
I gotta admit, the free coins, points, and gear I had received after I recovered my account certainly helped me like the server more (please don't judge me). Plus the population and the world PVP that happens (such as Goldshire and Durotar invasions) is pretty fun.

To me it's more of an attachment. I've played here for over 3 years, witnessed and contributed to a lot, made some friends and loads of acquaintances. And even though I may call this community toxic at times, I still enjoy logging on to harass people.
EDIT: Plus I have a Rogue named Illidan and that's like 100x better than anything Blizzard can give me.Edited: September 4, 2015

To be honest? The population and the friends i've made. There really is no other reason i'm here. If they left, I wouldn't even think about my decision.

I've been playing on Molten/Warmane on and off since 2010, playing retail and other MMOs on the side. I want to say I'm here for the same reasons as most people-- "because it's free" but that isn't entirely the case.
I spend more time on Warmane's Frostwolf server than I do with any other game-- even MMOs that I pay for. I feel like there is no pressure or obligation to play because I don't pay for it. I play because I know that in a month from now all my gear won't be obsolete and there won't constantly be new expansions forced on me that I'll have to play catch up with constantly. (Yes I know SoO is coming as well as Prideful eventually but once those are out and over with it'll be alright.)

only reason I'm playing here is because WoD is crap, since blizzard really ****ed up with their testing and really ****ed up overall with their priorities , scheduling , communication, it's just a shamble. We didn't get **** all in WoD. Legion looks like a place where I'll be stuck PvPing all day , every day

Been playing here for about 3 years now, and cant really see myself on another server.
No really gamebreaking bugs around, pretty populated realms, reasonably working encounters and so on..
Cant think of a reason to find another server really.

The time invested since Molten days and the friends made over time.
However I left some years ago and only recently came back to check what MOP was really about and derp, I got stuck again.

Cause I'm here from the first days Neltharion officially opened, cause of all the friends and cause of all the haters. Lately, there's more of the latter but the more, the merrier. :)

I play on Warmane because im used to it and because of its high population.
There are other private servers with much better scripted content but whats the point to play there when the server is underpopulated with 500-1000 players.
