Hello there Warmane,

I hope you are all well, and that your lives are good!

I guess you all have seen the news lately and know about the refugee situation in the middle-east and southeastern europe? I think the whole situation is absurd considering we are all humans. I feel quite heartbroken by seeing dead kids float ashore and millions of people having to flee their homes in order to avoid war.

I felt that I wanted to do what I can, so I've created a fundraiser in order to try to reach out and help out as much as I can. I think that we gamers are very passionate people, so let's try to unite now and help people in need.

To anyone wondering, money goes directly to UNHCR

Since we are on the subject of charity, this website has been organizing fundraisers for all sorts of different causes since 2002 and certainly will have many that people can find deserving of their help: http://www.globalgiving.org/

They have had one specific for the case of Syrian refugees for a while as well, almost reaching the mark of U$90.000 so far: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects...e-relief-fund/

Yup, anything donated goes directly to UNHCR. I don't see the money at all of course, I just want to see if the private server scene can make change :)

There are of course many other fundraisers out there and to be honest I'm happy if you donate to anything, it doesn't have to be this one, but if you can help out you should do so to whatever organization you like most!
