That's implying the rest of battlegrounds work well. For example, Alterac Valley is completely unscripted. Arathi Basin has a lot of fluff around, like walking NPCs. Et cetera.

Av is nothing as complex as IOC so unscripted stuff there is not really affecting or changing the concept of the battleground.

I'll keep bumping this thread every day until there's an official response from a staff member that is aware of the major bugs affecting both IOC and SOTA battlegrounds on the wotlk realms.
IMO the most optimal way to deal with this is with a community wide poll about disabling SOTA and IoC untill fixed or forever, Dalaran and ring of valor arenas are not available for a very long time and no one is ranting, I'm sure no one will care for SOTA and IOC as well.

Well I guess asking for staff response is against the rules but anyway, someone has to have an opinion regarding the bugs on both battlegrounds.
Don't get me wrong I have nothing against the warmane developers team, even more I'm enjoying the quality of most of the content and the fixes that came after the merge with AT, but these two battlegrounds just don't belong on "live realms" with the bugs and constant abuse crippling them.

I have a better way: join and if it's SotA or IoC, afk. It works well so far.

It's almost as if some people believe the staff that handle the forums have anything to do with fixing bugs.
But, you're right! They don't care about scripting wotlk, that's why they are fixing so much **** on Lordaeron.

Is it wrong to assume, the staff members that fix bugs or are entitled to take action in urgently disabling content that is broken, read the forums ? What is the point of a forum if there is no communication between the different ranks in the community ?

Some people will say that the bugtracker is for reporting bugs. Ok, but there are major bugs that are reported for long time and have 5-8 upvotes because no1 either reads the bugtracker or cares to upvote when the exploits are benefiting the class or the style he plays.

As someone said the only thing left to do is stop playing, but who cares again I am just another pleb playing on a private server, it won't change anything.

You are right, we are just numbers. The bugtracker is a joke since alot of reported gamebreaking bugs just don't get confirmed by any staff member due to a lack of care.

I remember when they disabled dalaran arena and the ring of valor due to everybody falling through the textures nonstop. Ofcourse back then the only expansion was Wotlk, and they cared about it because some staff members actually played on Neltharion and Deathwing. Nowadays they all play mop and are not bothered with the ****ed up state of the Wotlk realms. Otherwise they would have noticed how terrible it is to spawn at a random point in ioc without any spirit healer.

But they are trying to fix things right? Well I'm not really counting on that. Just inspect the last changes made to Sota as an example. What was wrong with the antipersonal cannons? They were working just perfectly except for the hackers who were flying and teleporting around with the canons. But why disable them and ruin the bg even harder. Why disable the Sota antipersonal cannons and not the ioc antipersonal cannons?

Why don't you just disable IoC and Sota and make everybody playing on the Wotlk realms a bit more happy. While it's disabled you guys are free to fix or not depending on what you want while you show that you care about us having some fun times in battlegrounds. Also you will instantly get rid of all the complaints on this forum regarding the unamusing state of ioc and sota.

I don't know how many times these two battlegrounds use to start right now, compared to the other ones, but as long as I have played here the battleground rotation was: av, sota, av, sota, av, isle, sota, sota, arathi basin, eye of the sotrm, sota, av, isle, wsg,....

What I'm trying to say is that if you don't play these bgs you will have to wait for hours before you can join one which is playable and enjoyable. Did they fixed the bg rotation?
