I use Skada, not Recount, so I can see Absorbs + Heals anyways...
However, most players use recount, which does not show Absorbs + Heals... It only shows heals, and this can cause Disc Priests to look weak on the meters because as of right now(On Ragnaros anyways) Heals DO NOT include Absorbs.
Will this be fixed for Lordaeron?
As a Disc priest main I would love for this to happen! :)

Uhm, isn't that recount's 'fault' ? I might be wrong but i always thought recount just doesn't track absorbs, at least that's what i assumed since both addons would use the combat log to get their data.

It's not Recount's fault.
In the normal Heals mode of Skada, it also does not include Absorbs. It only includes Absorbs in the "healing + absorbs" mode.
I am wondering if it was a separate recount addon that added absorbs into the mix.
I can remember 100% having absorbs included in the heals during ICC, but I can't remember if it was Blizzard added, or an upgrade addon for Recount.

No, Recount only started including Absorbs into heals late Cata or early MoP. I don't recall there ever being (whether and addition by Blizz or an extension to recount) a way for absorbs to be tracked in heals back in Wrath.

I remember now that you had to download something extra to include your absorbs into recount. But what's the point when Skada works anyways.
I'll just keep spamming Skada's "Abosrbs + Heals" after someone else posts just heals lol!

Skada doesn't need an extension for Heals+Absorbs. It's included with Skada. At least it's included with the latest 3.3.5a version.

Wasn't always that way for Skada, but I was talking about Recount (said Skada instead by mistake, but whatever). Anyways, I don't see what the issue is.

Who cares, if people think that your heals are low because you're 5th on recount then they're ******ed and its their problem not yours.

My heals are usually up there anyways, as a healer I just like to see all the numbers being done, not just some of the numbers.

On the LK I remember there was a priest, topping the heals with... yep shielding. Normal version of Recount. Guess it should work.

Recount 100% does not count absorbs at all on its own without the help of an additional addon installation. One must use RecountHealsAndGuessedAbsorbs in conjunction with Recount.
