  1. I agree that a poll like this is unfair and voted yes even though I don't multibox (tried it but stopped while leveling). Most players who don't multibox will vote no so the outcome of the poll is predictable already before seeing results.
We simply want to hear your opinions and the general stance on the subject.

Sorry to intrude but even if you asked that on retail /anywhere else you would get same reply!Nobody likes them, they think its unfair and generally despise MBs.

But it is not that easy to MB,it brings whole nother aspect of the game to people who are MBing.

But i dont think nobody who does not understand mbing will say yes due to reason as stated by someone before, they think its vudoo hudoo magic.

  3. Why not simply put a limit on the amount of simultaneous online characters?

  4. This is a VERY unfair poll system, most players will say NO, because they don't multibox and don't want to die in PvP. They dont understand how hard it is to actually level them, gear them.. Plus its a small part of the community so they wil never win this poll.
such a sad story, i almost cried even more than you... if that was possible. multiboxers on retail had a purpose -> pay x times more subscription money, which is good for blizz. here, on a completely free realm with 0 pay2win stuff? HELL NO. i somehow understood why they allowed MB on other realms, since they needed more premium accounts and they're also taking more space on relam, kicking others who don't have a premium by taking x times more player slots that can be used by other people, which instead might be sitting in a queue... i don't like to generalize, but these people are mostly self centered and attention seeking *******s, though that is completely unrelated to this poll. STILL NO.

also, a question: what do you do after you gear every single one of your characters? sell them? or you're playing every single one of them?

You have one point that I agree with. Most of the none MB'ers will vote No, but that doesn't make this unfair at all. Seeing as MB'ers have 5+ accounts and most people will only have one account. So you guys will get the advantage of 1 person=5 votes.

  6. All multiboxing? Would that include logging in to send mail from one character to another? Or to trade an item? It would be very stupid to stop a player from doing something like that.

  7. The answer to this problem is a compromise, I believe.

    1. People should certainly be allowed to have 2 accounts logged in for bank management, item swaps, and alt-toon dungeon runs (or twinking) among other things like that.

    2. However, having SEVERAL accounts logged in (5+) creates something that is hard to manage by 99% players or even groups of players, and sticks out like a sore thumb in an otherwise nostalgic environment like Lordaeron.

So the answer IMO would be to allow THREE accounts online at one time (if possible). This would allow 100% of the point #1 things to happen (which DON'T use 3rd party software to manage key-presses anyway), BUT would still also allow anyone wanting to experience this style of gameplay to do so, without STEAMROLLING the in-game atmosphere.

THREE accounts (using software for key-presses) is pretty manageable in battlegrounds or even the world with some player or group effort. However, this would still give multi-boxers the thrill they seek, although perhaps not at the DW/RAG levels they currently enjoy. It's A fair compromise, and one that could be switched to TWO open accounts if 3 proves to be a problem down the line, without changing the paradigm very much.

Agreed for the most part, but I do think we need some clarity on what constitutes multiboxing? Dual or even triple clienting doesn't require any software for keypressing but it's certainly simplified by the use of software. Thus does that fall under the category of multiboxing due to more than 1 account being controlled by software? If not, where's the line?

  9. Why directly from a yes or a no .

It might be wise to see in what circumstances. When you see guys with 15/20 accounts BG, ok. When you see a guy who just wants to have fun with his 5 characters by doing dungeons , that annoys nobody.

    You've got my vote ;)

  11. I don't understand why you guys hate multiboxers so much, there aren't that many multiboxers either, hardly 7 or 10 multiboxers at max and on all of them only 2 or 3 players multibox 25 characters and they are not at all active in wotlk realms.

  12. Yes, 7-10 of them. And when you encounter them, just one multiboxer, say, on a battleground...you'd wish you never joined. Whole WoW xp is ruined. What's the point of playing the game? To explore what it has to offer, not exploit its mechanics for personal gains. It's really sad to see someone who is multiboxing. The person either can't do 1vs1 properly, lacks skill, and/or motivation to learn, or has some rage issues that are channeled via 5chars instantly bursting everyone around until all die. It's a masochistic pleasure. I apologize if i offended anyone who multiboxes with speculations regarding his probable or improbable mental issues or lack of skill.
It's just my theory and opinion on the matter.

  13. I multibox on another private server. similar to this x1, but it has RDF enabled. Without RDF not many people will multibox here anyways. x1 leveling rate, no heirlooms, no rdf will take ages for 5 players in a party sharing quest xp to level up especially with all the low lvl mobs in starting zones being tagged soon as they spawn. You need to buy a program to multibox properly anyways so not many people on a private are gonna pay the 15 bucks every 3 month for said programs. As long as its not in PvP it shouldn't be an issue period. Bots / hackers are gonna be the ones farming up all the gold who are gonna have unfair advantage not a multiboxer.. nobody here is gonna have 40 lvl 60's because of all the mentioned items above.
