I'm not going to touch the whole transgenderism debate going on here, but I gotta say, I do not understand why women would be uncomfortable with anyone, even a man who identifies as a man, using the women's restroom. You're hardly alone, there are plenty of people who think like you. I wouldn't be bothered by a woman-who-identifies-as-male going use the male bathroom, although I for sure would call her "babe." The thing is there are way too many people who are uncomfortable with it, and you can't simply tell them to deal with it or call them narrow-minded and expect that to change anything.

George Takei made a recent post on Facebook about this and the bathroom issue, asking what were people's opinions about how to deal with it. My opinion is that there should either be three or four different bathrooms - with three, you would go with male, female and transgender plus "I don't care"; if that caused issues still (who knows, male transgenders not wanting female transgenders in the bathroom with them?), two for each gender, one for normal, one for transgenders.

Sounds complicated? Well, people are complicated. Transgenderism didn't help with that. Freedom and respect work both ways, so while people uncomfortable with transgenders shouldn't get to tell them not to be one or forbid them from being one, transgenders also don't have the right to push their lifestyle and choices onto other people when they are sincerely uncomfortable with it, nor force or expect people to play along with it.
