1. I've added the rotation for the picky min-maxers who cearly are in for some more advanced Opener-Theory. Back before i went inactive for 4~5 months it was possible to "snapshot" cast a serpent sting while the max amount of +dmg buffs were active and the mega serpent sting would stay for the whole fight. If someone can confirm whether or not this is still the case today I'd be happy to know.
If not, then there's no point refreshing the serpent sting at all and instead that Serpent Sting should be replaced by another Steady Shot. It may still be worth delaying Readiness for a "cycle" to get the 2 Chimeras and Aimed shots more damage, although at that point it would be very minimal, if even any gain at all.

  2. You can cast Serpent Sting under the effects of damage increasing modifiers (Exploit Weakness, Tricks of the Trade, Culling the Herd, etc) and have it keep those buffs so long as you never let that serpent sting fall off. This snapshotting only works with Damage Increasing modifers and not AP procs and things of that nature - as has always been the case.

The twist, however, is that Chimera-Serpent's damage isn't actually increased even if the Serpent Sting that's active on your target was a hugely buffed one. The main implication of this is that it's probably not worth wasting a GCD to refresh Serpent Sting unless it's either very early into the fight, the damage increasing modifier on you is very powerful (think BQL's bite), or you're running with the 2p T9 bonus.

While this is of course incorrect behavior, it's largely made up for (and then some) by other positive bugs. The main implication of this is that it's probably not worth wasting a GCD to refresh Serpent Sting unless it's either very early into the fight, the damage increasing modifier on you is very powerful (think BQL's bite), or you're running with the 2p T9 bonus.
^This. Just wanted to confirm this, I was very sceptical about the whole serpent sting refreshing thing, so I tested it, and turns out that only the serpent sting DoT is affected by the extra +% damage modifiers, not your chimera shot - serpent sting. Chimera shot only affected while you have the buffs, not after they fade.

  4. @DarkenedHue Just when i thought i'd reached a dead end, precast CotW and Call Stabled pet mother****er ty dude im yo fan fo lyf. Do you use a macro for this if yes would you mind posting it tyvm :D.
Nope, no macro. Just my Call Stabled Pet and CotW keybinds. I'm not sure if swapping out pets with Call Stabled Pet up is possible via a macro, but if it was, I'd be thrilled to know what the macro was too.

  5. @Xypher Nah you can i have been overwriting for some time till i figured it out even Donorbashed corrected it on his site but not on these forums

I don't have access to his forum account, that's why. I'm the one that corrected it on the website, I'm an admin there.
