1. Require update on Point Shop

    Hi Warmane,

    I was trying to find some information on when the point shop will be released. Apparently the main thread for this topic has been closed 5 days ago.

    Like most of the players, I am a regular customer at the point shop and it has been a month since it has been gone.

    Sorry for being impatient, but I am willing to wait more patiently if I can get some info about when it will be released. I would request Warmane to please give us updates/progress for the point shop too, in a similar format as for Lorderon on the main page.

  2. We've been extremely busy with the Lordaeron release, that is the main reason for the delay. We can't give you the exact date, but the point shop should be up and running in the next couple of days.

    But didn't you say in another post that the team working on lordaeron scripting was different from the team working on the website point shop? Many people reacted badly when the new point shop was announced, because everyone thought that the devs would have worked on a not necessary change instead of fixing bugs. Then we got informed that the team working on the servers scripting is not the same as the team working on the website, and that no precious resources were being wasted for something trivial as the revamp of the point shop.

    Now you are saying that you've been busy with lordaeron release. Assuming you haven't been working as devs in the development and scripting of the new realm, by busy you mean "Our priority was to make a laggy homepage logo"?

    Sorry if I come on a bit harsh, but these were your (warmane) words. First you say a thing, then another, then you close and delete any topic or post that asks for information and then, when n other guys open n more threads about the same issue, you make up things.

    That "in the next couple of days" is not believable. If "within 24h" turned out to be more than 10 days (and who knows how many more), I can't imagine how much time is "couple of days".

    The subject needs to be discussed internally and due to unforseen conditions we could not do it at the planned time. And as of right now the team is focused in Lordaeron, whose launch could not be delayed to prioritize the marketplace. It'll be looked at as soon as possible.
    For now we ask for patience, it should not hurt to wait. After all the point shop is a gift, an award for being active, and earning anything significant from it will take awhile.
