Pandaria After 5 years of PVP on Cata, Mop and Wod i finally said ill give WOTLK a try

was just gonna say...half of his footage is from mop as holy so.....and ye ok his wotlk videos are ok hes a very skilled player he plays nice but those are actually a really good example of how different the mechanics are compared to mop....as someone alreay mentioned....more spells...more ways to interact with your oponents and teammates...more ways to react to different situations and create different scenarios....more approaches...more tactics....

Why should I waste my time if you can't even understand or recognize a skilled player when you see him? Just to let you tell me more how you feel bored by this supposed "slow pve oriented pvp" which doesn't entertain you just because blizz didn't add all those visual effects to the spells like crowns flying in the sky or charge flaming paths? How can you compare them if you haven't played both of them in the first place? It's useless to argue with someone who hasn't got the necessary info to compare two different expansions.

warn me about what? that hydras old movies especially show how outdated and slow the wotlk mechanics are although hes a really skilled played and hes creative even in that limited old way of playing? didnt know but cool...then we finally agree

its hard to argue with people that blindy refuse to understand the diference between xpacs... if you have more fun playing LK its fine ...everyone should respect that, but saying that LK is hard and everything is faceroll on MoP is just absurd imo.
There was a shift on the game design there were alot of unecessary complexity and time consumption mechanics on older xpacs that added nothing to the gameplay and Blizzard removed most of those things and added more depth to the gameplay and depth is for me what makes a game requiring more skill.

My point is that you may have more abilities and you can vary a bit more your personal playstyle with the new mop talent sistem, but on wotlk you have tons of more debuffs, dots, diseases that you always have to refresh, to apply and to time properly, while from cataclysm those aspects of the pvp have become automatic. So that you can focus more on the damage, on the burst and the crowd control abilities. But that's not funny anymore to me. You need less knowledge of the class you are playing and of those you are countering. Balance has always been an issue on wow pvp but on cata and mop it hasn't improved at all, and classes are not more complex to be played.

Well, there is no point to discuss this topic with people who think that WOTLK mechanics and PvP seems outdated and simple and etc.

Seriously...wotlk pvp seems so outdated and simple it aint even funny....why is it so popular?

The picture comparison was very bad.

When you have played Vanilla and TBC and WOTLK, you see that the best things in the game are changed a bit, you get upset, naturally everithing changes. But when you see that the old dungerns get removed, the old items get removed, the old world content gets removed as well, you get frustrated. Ok, we can live with that. Big bad antagonists have just brought the new changes to the world we'll bare them. But when you see that the tallent tree system is fully recked, when every single class is given crowd control efects and heal, when you can learn your spells without even going to the trainer, when every single bit and aspect of the game gets so simplified, so that every random can play it with full gear and stuff, then, when this happens you get mad, throw the stupid expansion's disks into the garbage can and return to the old times.

If you guys think it's fun to run around with those unknown breed of a characters with three-click macros, the be my guests.

Seems like someone feels the need to post from his alt accounts because it's too hard to get new mop fanboys. Waiting for your objective arguments which should clarify to everyone why cata and mop pvp have to be more complicated. Because they have to be, right? So for which other reason did you need to pay 40 more euros to buy those new expansion disks? So why should has Blizz decided to add more abilities in the game? Seems legit.
