1. Incorrect Account Bent

    Hi

    Strangely, yesterday as I logged into the website to collect my points the page displayed "Your account has been terminated due to Advertising".
    To my shock I immediately tried to log into my account. Surprisingly I was able to still play, even though the website made it clear that my account is suspended.

    The only option I was able to click was support and from there, create a new ticket. All of the other options displayed a red popup telling me that my account is banned. I wrote a large description of the issue and reason that the ban should be lifted. When I tried to submit it requested me to select a ban to appeal, which did not exists. The drop down box was empty.

    Here is the description I tried to submit:

    Although the website notifies me that my account is suspended, I am able to log into the game normally. My ban can not related to in-game activities, as I have not broken any rules. I have made no forum posts advertising anything related to this server, yet my account is suspended for advertising. I have been advised that when using a vpn all of the ip's get banned. Since only a few ip's are used and re-leased on a vpn, you are banning people for no reason.

    Actions I have taken:

    I sent private messages to Aldtharios, Cognoscere and Zelta here on the forums (still waiting for a reply, hoping this might speed up the process).

    I have contacted an in-game game master, Cavah, who was unable to take any action to my suspension as "Gamemasters cannot assist with website issues". He also mentioned that "most likely someone got banned for advertising with the same IP". So he was unable to assist me because my account was not banned because of in-game action.

    Finally, I am writing this forum post, hoping that somehow it reaches the support team, as I am unable to submit a ticket for them to view. My account function as usual, except for being able to access core account features such as visiting the store, or modifying account settings.

    I use a vpn as it improves ping stability and prevents the stuck on success when trying to log in.

    I am able to log into the game normally. I have spoken to a gm. My ban is not related to in-game activities, nor is it related to any other activities. I have made no forum posts advertising anything related to the server, yet my account is banned for advertising.I am unable to remove this website suspension as I am unable to contact the support team, and everybody else who I am able to contact seems to not be able to assist me, referring me to the support team. I have been advised that when using a vpn all of the accounts that get leased a banned ip get bent too. Since only a few ip's are used on a vpn, you are banning people for no reason, except for trying to play on the server with minim latency and stability.

    I hope this message reaches a member of the support team. This is my last hope.

  2. As Cavah stated, chances are you're on an IP that consistently was used to advertise.
    It being a VPN one just increases the chance of that being the case. You will have to get a different IP, since I don't see them being removed from banned lists. After all, it isn't you who are banned, but the IP you're using.

  3. Thank you for the quick reply Obnoxious, Cavah also suggested that. I have tried changing my external IP address by connecting to different vpn's across the world (Italy, United States and Sweden and Poland). The message still persists on my account, not allowing me to make any modifications to account setting or access the shop.

  4. The problem being on the website, where you don't need "improved ping stability and to avoid being stuck on success," have you tried simply not using a VPN?

  5. Yes I have, I only use the vpn when I am stuck on success or when my ping exceeds 500ms in-game. The message persists when I log onto the website without a vpn.

  6. That would happen only if your IP isn't being refreshed or if your native IP is banned.

  7. I have tried logging into my account from a different location (At my university). The issue persists regardless of IP.

    It was probably your account that was mistakenly banned because it shared IP with someone who broke rules. You should try to make a support ticket on website here. Ban appeal should be available as ticket type if your account is banned.

  10. As mentioned before I am unable to create a support ticket as I have no ban to appeal. I am able to log into the game and play as usual. I am just concerned as to when I wish to spend my collected points when I wish to purchase an item. Other than that everything works.

  11. Hi Form, I have been receiving the exact same message that BionicSeahorse has mentioned above. I'm not sure what is causing it but it makes me feel like a cyber criminal. Obnoxious could be correct due to the fact that it's happening on and off, but I would greatly appropriate it if this issue can be sorted out.

  12. In that case it's some kind of bug. There were a few forum threads about that. Not sure if any of them got the problem solved. Usually those threads were about the problem being misunderstood. Still best way to try solving it would be either making a support ticket on website or if you can't do that then sending email to [email protected]. Only the people who answer support tickets are able to actually do something about it.
