1. My Activity Rank won't go further than Envoy at 2940. What gives?

So I underestand to raise your activity rank you need to get achievements. I've gotten achievements on multiple characters.

I've gotten tons of TBC achievements on Lordaeron (which none of my other characters have)
I've gotten classic achievements on my highest leveled and most geared character (which none of my characters have)

Yet my Activity Rank won't go further than 2940! Someone told me that it only went up if I get achievements on my highest level character, but what if I have multiple capped characters? How do I know which one I have to use to raise my activiy rank? This is beginning to get quite frustrating.

Some help would be appreciated. And please don't link the forum post where it explains Activity Ranks. I've read it multiple times and it doesn't explain my problem.

    Thanks.

  2. You only need 5,000 achievement points from unique achievements across all your characters on all expansions to get +0.7 which means you're earning the highest possible amount of points daily, (12 before squish, 1.2 after).

If you happen to get banned at any point, you instantly forfeit the +0.5, meaning you need 8,000 achievement points to get 1 point per day, you can never reach 1.2 per day.

    points > 8000 = +1
    points > 7000 = +0.9
    points > 6000 = +0.8
    points > 5000 = +0.7
    points > 4000 = +0.6
    points > 3000 = +0.5
    points > 2000 = +0.4
    points > 1000 or 1000 = +0.3
points < 1000 = 0 total, good standing is not factored in here either, meaning you have to atleast play the game to begin gaining points.

  3. Can I just get a simple answer of WHY I'm not getting more achievement points past 2940? When I view my activity rank it always shows 2940 no matter what achievement I get on any character.

I know how the whole system works. What I don't know is why my achievement points on the website aren't going up.

  4. Nevermind! Turns out I had to actually collect my points first and then it updated.

    Weird.

  5. No this is not explained at all, or at least i didnt understand it. I have currently 2320 achi points rank. I have 4 chars with 1110, 1070, 1030, 800 achie points each. How then this 2320 formed? Obviously isnt calculated, isnt avarage, isnt highest... How to know which of the characters adds achievement points to this number (2320), so I rank up?
Ive heared it has to be unique achievements, meaning i have Kinglslayer on all my 4 chars, it only adds 1 time to the general rank point, not 4 times, correct?

correct. only achi's you don't already have on any character count.

it only count for unique achievements, meaning that when you have several chars having same achievements, system will only count as 1

since it's unique, I believe we can use it for our advantage, for example doing low dungeon closer to Horde's territory on Horde char and vice versa on Ally's

  8. Is there anything that defines what is a unique ach? Sso your saying low lvl dungeons will count.. what else?

  9. I think that all achievement will count, but only once....so if you do same achievement on 2 char of the same account will count only as one, but all achi are good...

  10. I question why the number in mine changes day to day... Down and up (I'm not even earning new achievements).
    Today it's at 2735
    Yesterday it was at 2690
    the day before 2930.

    None of this makes sense.

unique means that system will only count same achievement earned by several chars inside one account as 1 achivement
for example you have several chars : Orc Warrior, BE Pally, and NE Priest

when Warrior, Pally and Priest completed FoS; your account will only 10 point achiement for completing FoS (you dont receive 3x10=30 points)

and yes low dungeon does count

another example, your Orc Warrior can complete dungeon which can be found on Ogrimmar city
and your NE Priest can complete dungeon which can be found on StormWind city
both will earn you 20 points
