Dike, if you're talking about FPS, it's because of WotLK engine which is quite old, and it's using only one thread/core if I remember correctly, while MoP is using multiple cores, so no matter how good you Graphic Card is, single core usage will bottleneck your card thus lowering your FPS in AV, and multi-core usage doesn't allow that to happen on Cata+.
PlateBuffs and TidyPlates both eat VRAM/FPS as well, I suggest turning that off.

turning off doesnt help at all. and the best part is - i've never expirienced such lags on any other private server which runs 3.3.5

So I guess we are back at square one.. I'll try to look up on the internet in general again, might find something else.
Again if anyone has some info on this please feel free to comment, seems there are more out there than just me with this particular problem.

Does Tidy Nameplates and Plate Buffs really eat so much FPS?
Could anyone confirm that Blizzard nameplates are better performance wise than these addons.
I can not see how there could be such a big difference.

Blizzard nameplates might be slightly more effective due being positioned directly by gameclient. There might be difference with large amount of nameplates, but nameplate addon could throttle shown nameplates and thus be more effective.
