Hello, I am pretty new to Warmane. Never really played private servers much. I was wondering if this realm was in it for the long haul, like 3 years at least (yes i know thats a long time but im a pretty busy guy) because I am not trying to waste my time by building my toon up and finding out that the server will close the next day or anything. I am also thinking of becoming a premium member if the server will stick around that long as I would really like it to keep going and if my donations help, i would be glad to oblige. I have already started a toon and I love the server so far. It barely has any bug (maybe not even bugs, maybe im just trippin) AND I LOVE THE FACT THAT ITS SO FAIR TO EVERYONE (not pay to win). Thank you for your feed back.

Molten/Warmane has been active for over 5 years.

We had a slight hiccup at the start of the year, but apart from that the previous 4 years were great :)

It will last as long as people are interested in it. There was an old Lord back when warmane was Molten. It died, not sure why, but I believe because population began to diminish.

Exactly. People hated a few things about it.

1. Content got OLD. Same crap every day, every week, every month.

2. GS. When you need a WRATH LEVEL GS to run BC CONTENT, well...

3. Pay-2-win became the law of the land. Pally with a Smourne? QQ.


Unfortunately, what many people fail to realize is that, while new content waits to be released, it builds anticipation and excitement, as shown through the huge pop it currently has. Long term, the same crap will happen. Once all of the Wrath content is released, that's it. No more. Nothing new. So, issue 1 from before WILL return. That's why WoW keeps getting new xpacs. Unfortunately, I've already seen issue 2 begin resurgence.

Issue 3 SEEMS to be mitigated, fortunately, due to realm development rules. Unfortunately, someone WILL find a way to exploit the rules to make it Pay-2-Win again.

Old Lord died because they enabled transfers from x3 (when FW was upgraded to Cata) and then from x12 and x20 realms which was like the stupidest thing ever.
This time it won't happen, hopefully...

i would like to present you evidence that in the 4 years prior things were not "great" but i dont think i am allowed to judging from past experiences. lets just say under the old management things were often promised and said and never delivered and the new one ... well ... the quality did improve hell of alot but i am still not convinced. whos to say kaer wont step down again and history will repeat itself.
