1. What is needed in PvE

Im thinking about leveling either a Warrior Tank or a Shaman Healer but i dont know which one.
Which is better to go Hc Instances and maybe raid sometime

And which faction is more PvE active Horde or Alliance, or is it Cross-Raid?

    Thanks for the advises

  2. Both factions are active in PvE, I'd say go horde if you're all about pve.

Both tanks and healers are needed.
Just go with whatever you'd like playing more. Also, keep in mind warriors are a lot easier to level than shamans.

You'll be fairly in demand with either of those choices. Healers/tanks are usually the hardest spots to fill in any group.
If you pick Shaman, you'll want to spec Elemental for leveling. You'll still be able to heal most dungeons on par for your level until you hit the cap.
I think leveling as Protection isn't nearly as slow as trying to level as Resto.
It's not cross-faction for raiding or anything else at the moment. I also don't think faction choice matters so much - both sides will be involved in PvE as well as PvP.

  4. In Terms of how hard a role is i tanked alot back when i played retail i know whats coming to me, but yeah i was gonna level elemental anyway, for the haling i would have just gone for a duel spec if that already exists :D
    Thanks for the quick advises

  5. During EU time definetly a tank is more needed
During US time a healer is more needed

(This is based on my perception of the groups LFM in /global)

  6. PvE for Scrubs who wants to kill scripted dragons and collect stupid points KAPPA

  7. Horde's racials are generally better for PvE so this would be a logical choice.

As far as prot warrior vs resto shaman is concerned, I'd personally go with the shammy. It's just that it's an amazing healer at any point while warrior tanks are considered the poorest tanks compared to others. Taking this in consideration, if you just wanna raid casually, warrior tank is just fine but doing hardmodes and heroic raids with a warrior tanking is a no- go in most cases.

Depends on which tier and if armor is working as it should (since it didn't on the other servers)... Warrior tanks have good and bad sides just like any other tank.. Altho in ICC (as an example) they are priortized away since Druid/DK usually does the MT (i think) and Pala is the OT.

  9. Horde's population is slightly higher, has much better class balance (and by better I mean leagues better, because paladins and warriors alone don't make up 50% of the Horde's population), and it also tends to attract more PVE-oriented players.

If your sole focus is PVE, you'll likely prefer the Horde.
