My position as a Moderator doesn't keeps me from having a personal opinion, and I should have "a rather neutral position" when enforcing the rules. I also identify what is from "us" and what's my personal opinion. I have no need at all to "hide" under a different account to post my personal opinions and interact with the community. There's nothing "unprofessional" about having a mind of your own and voicing your opinions in discussions, and I can separate things (better than you, it seems), since I have defended standpoints I personally disagree with on multiple occasions. Of course complaining about the opinions of a Staff member when they are opposite to yours is nothing new anyways.

My point was that mostly discussion in topics like these turns into
"**** you"
- "No, **** you"
That happens to fuel the people that have misunderstood for example the reason of wotlk delay. It's hard to follow costructive discussion in the topics like these when there is alot bs.

Stop crying about the release time, it's only 2 DAY delayed, not 2016.

Well, when u share ur personal opinion in a thread and have a discussion with ppl that defend a different standpoint then it often ends up with at least one guy losing his posting privileges.
I dont wanna imply that u are abusing ur power but other mods tend to ban much less forum user.
Imo much of these bans and drama could have been prevented if u had a more neutral position.

I'm not even going to bother correcting you on... everything you assume in your post. I'll just say: don't blame me if people are unable to show proper respect and take things into personal offenses and disrespect. It's not my role to "prevent" bans, just to enforce the rules when necessary. People are the ones who should be "preventing" their own bans.

no idea what u mean by neutral, he just support warmane. its not blizzard here, and he got no need to be "politically correct" here. if some1 speaks against warmane's course of action, why shouldnt he defend it and explain the reasoning? and well if they got ban its coz they cant keep it clean i mean i didnt agree on some issues too (alot off ppl do), but its either u end up given a good reason for the problem or just leave the subject coz that how it is, some ppl just have to continue on and on till they just start bashing every1.
and btw obnoxious comment here the most so i guess his presence here is the greatest, means that he bans more ppl ofc, simple as that.

On a more serious note. Some people are obviously dumb here, please inclute words (in capital letters): "DATE MAY CHANGE" just so that less smart part of our community gets it.
Also, you sure releasing it on weekend is a good idea? I know you probably wanna break online record, but if all these people unleash into north... Well I can't be sure, it may actually be even less laggy considering there are 2 starting zones and DKs. Gonna see I guess.

The frontpage announcement said at first "the estimated launch date for WotLK is set for the 10th of December" which was the changed to "Lordaeron Wrath of the Lich King launch will be released on December 10, 2015." which is no longer an estimate but a statement. Then, last night at 1AM ST you sneak in and edit that statement to the 12th rather than the 10th.

I don't mind the delay. It disrupts my LAN gathering, but we have other games lined up. The quote above is the only problem, the people who made plans, took time off, gathered their friends, don't get so much as an acknowledgement.

There was no estimate on Dec10, it was an official statement on the homepage, two days before launch. Perhaps you think the community doesn't deserve three words about delaying an official release. I can understand that, people are crazy *******s, especially lately with all the HYPE going around.

Have you tried sarcasm on the homepage? Could be amusing and counts as "communication"

Have to agree with this. There was no estimate. The quote that was on the front page stated that "WotLK WILL launch on the 10th", before they changed one number around without really giving any reason why.

On topic, will there be some in-game notification when the servers go down for the WotLK update? I'd like to be able to log my chars in certain key spots (next to the zepplin for example) before the huge spikes of people connecting have me teleport-lagging through Orgrimmar lol.

You need to chill a little bit, Moderators. Getting a little too upset imo. Not that you don't have enough reasons to be, which you do. But as Moderators you really shouldn't feed the people complaining 'cause no matter what you say, most will keep complaining and talking ****. Just ignore the thread for a while and calm your **** a bit.

On topic now. Yeah it sucks the release was delayed 2 days. Got an exam and **** to study for but it is what it is. If those 2 days are needed to make sure everything runs as smoothly as it can, coolio.

If you are gonna release it on saturday please consider launching at like 01.00 CET to avoid crazy lag in the starting zones.
