After the second boss in Azjol-Nerub there are a bunch of small mobs with 400hp or something. They give the same exp as the elite mobs. Once you kill those drop down into the water area in front of Anub and there are a bunch of mobs with around 2k hp inside the water and on the nearby ground. These too give the same exp as elite mobs.
Pretty fast way to level if you have rested exp.
At higher levels the zombies in Culling of Strathholme make a nice way to level. I put all my characters into a separate instance of CoS and then kill the mobs on them one at a time. By the time the last character has killed all the zombies the zombies in the first instance have respawned.

My 10 box is only level 10 but it feels like it's going far slower than it should be, are you guys skipping gathering quests or just running a five box? I'm doing two five man groups questing on one group then switching to the other but it just feels like I'm making no progress.
Its going very slow for me since I dont have much time to play lately. Im stuck at 72 and should head to Howling Fjord, but I just hate that zone without flying (need a mage that would sell me portal to Dalaran so I can buy Cold weather flying hehe)
As for leveling 10 guys simultaneously, Im not too sure about that... My guess is that you would level your teams much faster if you leave one of your teams in town to accumulate rested xp and then switch it up for your current team every week. Thats what I did and I have 2 teams at 72...I do gathering quests only If i see that I will not spend ridiculous ammount of time waiting for spawns.

I did lv.1 to lv.15 in 12 hours on a 5x team (/played 16 hours but 4h AFK). I don't know if it is normal or if I suck at leveling.

Don't you need a level 77+ char in order to buy the tome of cold weather flying?
I normally level as two teams of 5 side-by-side up until level 70 and then I do the Azjol-Nerub thing.
I play on a server with the RAF bonus up to level 60 so IDK about /played time. Assuming rested exp and heirlooms, it takes about 15-20 hours to get from 70-80 on a 5man team for me.

Yeah I do need 77 for Cold Weather Flying, my wotlk knowledge is kinda rusty since I come from a Vanilla server, bummer :(
