How in the world did this private server get so popular??

New expansion is coming out ,and I think a lot of players are leaving retail for a more consistent WoW experience. Which Lordaeron promises, but the gameplay is super sluggish (latency display is false). Plus you just have to get used to being disconnected randomly and wait 5m until the client lets you connect again, for no reason. But I like everything else.

Imo, and yes i have played on a lot of private servers through time, this server delivers good stability overall, good leveling experience, huge population, professionel staff, and regular bug fixes/updates.

How much more can you expect from a (free) private server?

This is my personally best experience so far, on a private server.

Been consistently huge for a very long time, no other server compares to Warmane/Molten
Started playing here during the holidays in 2009, Neltharion was the only realm, it grew so quickly that more realms kept spawning every few months.
It has stayed consistent and big for many many years, it's the best private server ever to be made in my opinion, the only time it wasn't doing too well was when Kaer left.
There never was and never will be a better private wow server, in my eyes at least.

How the hell did this happen, did this server come out right as WoD hit its peak of destruction?

Healsonheels announced that she was going to start leveling a Protection Priest on Lordaeron and she was not going to stream it. People would have to come online and play along with her to be able to see her live. This day will live in infamy. The day Archbishop Healsonheels, Slayer of Masculinity appeared as a Level 1 Priest. I remember that day like if it was yesterday.
