with prices they put in coin shop...i dont think that many people will donate for something that you can buy with honor....
and even if everyone buy them so what? 1 week honor farm and you will have them aswell.
i am sry but this is probably best shop model that can exist on private server.if you complain about this and call it p2w...well fuk i dont know what to say.

p.s did anyone remember the days on molten when premium accounts was able to cross faction wisp?since there is no any benefit about been premium on lorderon how about they bring back this option it was super fun and i miss it.

The "2+ months" (number by you, by the way) will only be valid for the last tier of gear for Wrath of the Lich King. For every other tier, current gear you can get in-game will always be one tier higher than what you can get in the shop. That won't be under a timer, only being upgraded when the next tier becomes available, so for all tiers besides the very last one people won't be able to "buy" the same gear people can get from playing the game. It's a model that actually hurts potential donations by a lot, and we still have to keep hearing "pay to win."

Just protecting ourselves from people later taking any specific numbers to heart, when I don't know if the delay between the last content release and the inclusion of those items in the Marketplace has even already been decided yet.

We haven't set out a specific plan for ICC, as that is quite a way down the road.
How it will work with Naxx & Ulduar is like this.
Naxx 25 is available = you can donate for Naxx 10 gear. (That's right now, I believe.)
Ulduar is made available, let's assume it's all sizes&difficulties = Ulduar 25 & hard modes (do not confuse with heroic) are available = Ulduar 10 loot can be donated for.

That being said, I would expect that once ICC 25 heroic is available, you will be able to donate up to 264 ilvl, and then up to 271 ilvl once Ruby Sanctum 25 heroic is available.

The only redeeming point is that you can possibly still not buy 277 gear. Until they decide otherwise.

how is that pay2win?lets say for exampe if you have 25/10 icc normal mode ( before hc released) you can donate for 10man gear.when you get to hc mode you can donate for 264 ilv gear thats 10man hc and 25 man normal.you will be able to donate for Deathbringer's Will normal mode you will be able to get hc version only with raiding.there is nothing that is p2w here.also even if they change it and make some other model for ICC thats like what? 1 year ahead?you really so worry that 1 year later server can become p2w?
and yes ofc 1 day in the future you will probably be able to donate for BIS ingame gear.

So you think the massive cost of items and the fact that you have to obtain the previous item in-game before donating for the next one up isn't "redeemable"? I think you're being a bit more hostile about it than you need to be.
