You clearly don't understand the point behind a private server. People play here for two reasons. Because they either can't or don't want to play on a Blizzard server. One of the biggest reasons for that is the subscription.

I have one more concern about this model of selling...we know there are items that are BiS even tho they are in lower tier...farming that item also have some kinda progression feeling about it,and you can just buy it now :S

sure there is some situations that this can be true but its like lets say we are at icc content and you can donate for TOC trinket that is bis for you.however will that really effect the server since probably everyone already have this trinket because they farm this boss pre ICC.also even if that happen its like 1 item. you cant really complain because of 1 item its not like you will dominate over other players because of it.

I have bought a lot of coins but i'll only spend them on lordearon when ICC is released and the best stuff is available in the shop. I'm probably not the only one who will do that. Why buy stuff now when you can wait and get better stuff for your coins some time later?
Meanwhile i'll just level up many many characters. :)

thats the biggest bull**** ever.donating is mainly to support the server.if you dont want to buy gear you can still donate you are not "forced" to not contribute.

You are not forced to get gear when you contribute. You are more than welcome to use the coins on pets, mounts, etc. gift them to someone else, or even just let them sit there on your account unused.

Cool,I will be glad to support server with either money or good words,but first,server needs to prove it self (not only to me,to everyone) :) with either scripting and stability (expirience as a whole)...if server delivers,I think I will be fine with gear in shop...

i still want to know why people think you win something because you bought some gear.
does gear make u spec right? does it make you avoid big balls of crap from a boss? does it make you know when to burn your medallion in pvp? does it teach you how to gem? doe sit teach you how to use the right glyphs? does it teach you what spells to use?
last i checked thats a no to all of the above.
so whats the issue? seen plenty of undergeared people here wrecking SM warriors.
besides some of us have been playing here for a long time. you honestly think that over the course of time on a private server that people havent spent years farming gear and are BiS legit anyways?
so lets say in a years time a new guy comes to lord and is complains about donors or how everyone is geared in pvp but he is not, and that he wants to do pvp but feels like its a waste of time since he is so undergeared and lets say gifting is disabled. people do farm gear. people will always be ahead of you when they have spent much more time farming the gear.
what is the difference in gifting?

if you think gear is winning and sitting at 1350 rating or in 10icc normal for your time here on molten then GG. bc i sure dont see gear as winning. i see killing end game bosses without dying while pulling best dps or having a 2.2k rating as winning. guess im old and nuts tho.Edited: January 2, 2016

what people dont realize this is an old expansion very old like 5 years old and also one of the most popular expansion in private servers and yea most of the people that play here played wotlk before some ppl from AT, others from other pservers and here in this expa pve gear makes really a big difference if we talk in pvp terms ppl always thinking noobs will only get gear are totally wrong .. most ppl have knowledge of this expa so ye i doubt most of the ppl are noobs here..
