You're welcome.
in the morning I have a perfect ping as if I'm playing on lan, but in the evening with the same ping I play with a delay as a 500 ping. and it goes on for a month, every day
Disagree. PvE is programmed and scripted, you can follow a certain tactic and you'll win.
PvP, like "real sports", say football or basketball, requires you to keep track of what your opponent is doing and reacting accordingly. This is completely out of topic, i have not read the context either, just felt like replying
On-Topic, the lag is horrible when 10k people join. Reduce the cap or improve the servers
And he claimed PvP is more fun, with the usual implication that human opponents make it more "fun." If human opponents are more fun, turn off the computer and go face them for real, where your "tracking what the opponent is doing and reacting accordingly" is more than "waiting for add-ons to give a warning and pressing a key." Fun is based on what you find fun, and quite many people don't see anything fun about e-penis sword fighting.
Don't do that to yourself, I didn't insult you.
In so many words I expressed that I haven't/don't experience lag/high latency you and others have described. Does that mean it doesn't exist? Not at all, was just trying to map things out with more information. BTW, your "detailed" post is missing information that may help pinpoint what's going on (location, LAN/Wi-Fi, etc.).
Then again my connection is fine and if I wanted to, could care less (but I'm not that type of person).
I know what lag and latency is :)
this is kinda uber off-topic right now...we need respond about lag etc. to the masses, not some pve vs pvp discussion which is at the end really personal thing...
my question : is it possible to spread lag on certain tasks...like the pyramid...on the top are raids and tech pvp...on the bottom are quests taking, sending mails, vendoring, etc.all that world stuff...one server done this because of insane lag,and it worked...I think you are skilled to make that work, atleast for now so people who are at end game can play with full potential (i'm not at end game atm but I don't mind lagging while leveling if I can play peacefully bgs arenas and raids)...
Glad to see discussion regarding the lag. What about making a second Lordaeron, with free transfers from the old one?
I don't have any information to give about that, though. I'm not going to make something up, and if seeing golden names in the browsing list in the thread doesn't already says it, my posting here means we are aware of it and it has already been passed over. That's as far as I can go as a Moderator, I have to either wait for a reply to give myself or for someone with information to come post. I still can interact with players despite that.
fair enough
LORDAEON 400 - 600 jumping ms blackrock same time less than 80
fix this unplayable to pvp realm
The problem is OBVIOUSLY in server population, cuz with 8k online no one server lag or delay, but when online reaches 8500~ server just dying in lags

Why the hell are people comparing Blackrock and Lordaeron? Blackrock is a pvp-only realm with 1k players, while lordaeron is pve-pvp realm with 10k players. Are you expecting same performance? If you want less lag the cap needs to be 9k, but then people will be complaining about the ques, so it's a neverending circle. Imo it's better to lower the cap, bcs that way 9k players is happy (2k in que are not), other way would be 10k players with lag not happy (1k in que also not happy) :D
I'm experiencing the same issues as OP in London @100 mbit / Ethernet.
I plan to mainly PvP and this is a bit worrisome to me...
IMHO the fault is 99% on Lordaeron, either hardware related (too high pop cap for their hardware) or software (anti DDoS, new core).
Keep in mind to measure the REAL latency using addons such as Quartz; the reported in-game latency is useless - it says about 25ms for me, but most spell casts fall in the 200-400ms range using Quartz.
Also, I have no such issues on Ragnaros... all spell casts land in a consistent range from 40 to 80 ms
For the seemingly "thousands" of players not encountering lag/high latency why would things point towards server error? If it were hardware/software related wouldn't all players pretty much be effected? Been playing for years and the only time lag/latency occurred is when the server/realm is about to crash or there is a occurrence in my network/internet. Idk
